I’ve been doing that with Day One. Leaving notes in a journal for location related notes. Nice to see a project that focus only on that.

I still can't believe this is still an issue. When lazy-loading/infinite-scroll appeared main problem was that your footer shouldn't contain any actionable information. And people still makes fall into the same issue years after.

I've been working with Django/Python for many years, and around 10 years switched to JS stack, because of work (and because I read HN too much).

Last year finally convinced me that the entire JS community is sick, they want to re-invent the wheel all the time and making new libraries obsolete in months. So I started to use Django again. Most of the things needed for MVPs or prototypes are covered by their admin panel, thn when I need to build a front, I decide if use views or a simple frontend (next.js, svelte, etc) that communicates to my API.

ok, it's been a few days now using it, and I'm starting to love it. Specially their API access, so I can send my voice note transcriptions to my daily note.

The custom object types is great, I missed that feature from Anytype in other tools.

The only drawback is that they didn't implemented an import from other platforms tool. And I have all my history and notes on Logseq now.

Tried that, but I would like outliner mode to be the default. Instead of writing a `-` at the beginning of the line.

I'm trying a lot of tools, but I end up using Logseq. It's amazing.

Only bad thing is their mobile app, it's so bad.

I just tried it, looks good. But TBH, I miss outlining. I would like they offer a way to have an outlining mode (with collapsing ability). Thanks for the recommendation.

I tried many organization systems, including Johnny Decimal like PARA. And none of them worked for me. As an ADHD person, I've found the best way for me is not put effort in organizing at all. For that reason I've found tools like Logseq/Tana/Reflect does a great job. I just write in the journal and tag items accordingly if required, then if I need to write some long form document, I create specific pages for it. Then search and backlinks are everything I need. My brain works better searching than browsing.

That's the worst part of the smart TV. I don't use the smart features and have it disconnected from internet, but still takes a minute to boot up.

It's bad, but even worse if you have kids.
