Whatever gets more people interested in soccer, talking about it, and out playing it.
FIFA shortened a red card for Ronaldo that was supposed to be 3 games out. 0
One live view for USA game showed the other player run from behind Balogun but that was not in the replays. Both players went for the ball and one fell on the other.

“The measure prohibits corporate entities from owning more than 350 existing single-family homes, although it does not require them to sell homes purchased before the measure became law.”
They don’t mention anything about foreign investments but China is trying to rein in their own overseas spending to boost national investment.
Carve outs: - Investors may purchase homes owned by other investors.
- There are additional exceptions related to previous contracts and legal obligations, or if the purchase is part of a loss-mitigation strategy.

“Donald Trump’s blocking of Anthropic is capricious and chaotic” - current title
I don’t understand the posted title quote and assume it’s missing a lot of context or was misinterpreted as it’s a secondary attribution. “Mythos broke into almost all of our classified systems in hours”.
When you put it on those networks already and gave it compute?
I was waiting for a comment to expand on this. It appears to be opt in but the opt out is not using the latest models unless I misunderstood it.
BS until 2027 at the earliest.
“Now, SpaceX and other megacap companies like Anthropic and OpenAI will have to wait at least 12 months after their IPOs to join the S&P 500.”

“While additional research is still needed before the treatment could be tested in humans, the study offers a striking possibility.”

I didn’t realize the scale of data centers in northern Nevada. Residential customers will mostly pay 70% for the transmission line costs. 12 data centers by 2033 with 5,900 MW of power.
“NV Energy is building Greenlink West, a 525-kV, $4.2 billion transmission line from Las Vegas to Yerington, expected online in May 2027. Schwarzrock said Liberty would be “first in the waiting line” when Greenlink opens, giving it access to a wider pool of energy providers. But that timeline matches the contract deadline exactly, leaving almost no margin for error. About 70% of the project’s costs will be borne by Southern Nevada customers. But this is nothing new, at least according to NV Energy.”
Seems fake
Management chased every quarter with little care about the long term future.
Took their profits and ran to other low cost airlines like frontier to make them ultra low cost per friends in the industry.
Spirit tried to merge a few times but failed due to their balance sheets. Then bankruptcy protections.
Follow the price of oil and airlines run into issues during those times when it goes above $100.
4.5hrs to go
Time, production capacity, and materials. I’ve seen 1yr lead times on electric equipment to install charging stations. Copper supply issues with a huge rollout.
$150/barrel, much higher prices everywhere, less fertilizer, and less oil available could spur a faster turnover.
Fairly surprised they admit the project burned out an engineer enough that they quit.
“One engineer who left Kapwing in fall of 2025 said that the short-lived Tess investment contributed to burnout.”
Looks good so far. The AI summary button is nice but hard to distinguish from the background.
“all fees would be refunded to users who participated in these markets, and that positions from before his death would be cashed out at the last-traded price.”

It could be a win-win for everyone and they inform him they will not enforce any non-competes.
“After spending (…) then a little less than two years at Intel Foundry, O'Buckley will now supervise how Qualcomm turns its designs into finished silicon.
Whether or not Intel Foundry will produce any of Qualcomm's future designs is something that remains to be seen.”
They probably have proof in contracts that they agreed to this usage. They won’t alter the deal based on some bad press nor do they want to lose the DoD-DoW as a customer.
Never ending worm approach is to get remote control via methods on android or apple. Then scam other contacts. It’s built into FaceTime. Need 3rd party apps for android.
Shows only for Goldman Sachs customers. Doesn’t show the remaining S&P500 components.
4.3kilos for the Hubbard variety at 56 days is pretty high. I wonder the percent make it to 56 days or they collect early.
Most I saw in US were running 3.4kilos avg at 51 days. If they make it to 53 days they usually have heart failure due to fast growth. Lots of breeding issues.

They list a study and more info on that page. Probably why almost all pre-workouts include caffeine. Some push for 300mg per serving.
Yohimbe gives some weird heart effects also.

Most models local or cloud have issues with very long contexts even if they “support” 1M context window.
I’ve tried local models and around 30K context, it starts making up or summarizing content to store it in memory and will not fully reproduce the input.
You could try re-training a local model on a book or implementation of RAG.
I don’t know how latest local models would handle 200k context window but RAG may help keep the memory context clean.
The links all take you back to Fox News instead of links which detail the content. Excluding probably the book the author is selling I didn’t click.
It all comes down to: Margin.
If the market fails, they will give you a margin call. If you don’t have a margin account, your broker didn’t make one for you, then you’re safe.
Heard many complain that ski/snowboard season this year was a bust.
“Normally, snow cover this time of year spans 460,000 square miles — about the size of California, Utah, Idaho and Montana. But, this year it is only California-sized, about 155,000 square miles”
Wonder if you can use GitHub actions to build iOS.
I found a guide for virtual box macOS which failed on intel then another for hyper-V but haven’t tried that one yet.
I have a script that creates a hash based on all files in a directory - photos 2004. Then save the hash separately to a text file.
I have 3 copies so I can check the archive version, active storage volume, and local version to see if any lost integrity in the transfer process.
I’m curious how it would compare against my old CDs and DVDs that were previous backups. My work does something similar for tape drive data.
That was the cyber truck. 4 motor replacements iirc.
I had an install of a heat pump slightly oversized for the work trailer used. Every day it was below 30-40F 0C-4C, the pre-heater would kick on. A heat strip inside the heat pump.
It would take 30min to an hour to get heat out of the heat pump. We had to get portable heaters to supplement the heat generated and while the pre-heater was running.
Then in summer it could not handle cooling so we needed an additional loud window AC.
Then the vendors pay 2-4% of credit transactions to the payment processor or shift the cost to consumers.
It’s about the cost of another employee in salary per year for restaurants.
While many other countries employ pay by QR code which is free.
