<Unless I'm missing something ... quick mutation of the virus>

It is a long article but you missed the part at the beginning of the article explaining that malaria is not caused by a virus or bacteria but a parasite.

Also the chart labelled 'Vaccine Discovery' which clearly shows no previously existing vaccines against parasites.

Also, the world map showing where Malaria has not been eradicated clearly indicates that it is found in the tropical belt where unfortunately a lot of poor countries exist.

I would be interested in knowing of any non-crypto use case of decentralized blockchains that has gone mainstream and is financially viable.

That's because the x-axis is "pairwise allele-sharing distance" ie: we munged the data every which way to find something that we could use k-means clustering to write a paper.

A better graph would be a "pairwise interracial-fucking distance" with the y axis the percentage of healthy babies born. That would be just one cluster.

The expectation is that FSD should not do stupid things that a normal alert human driver would not do like

1. drive straight into a concrete barrier https://youtu.be/Tr-oF7J0cBw?t=13

2. drive straight under a tractor trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BgV-YnHZeE

In this instance

3. Come to a complete halt in a tunnel with busy high speed traffic for no apparent reason.

And the excuse that the driver should have been ready to take over within fractions of a second of the Tesla making a mistake while in FSD is absurd expectations on human reflexes and attention.

I recently decided to give Apple Maps driving directions a try and was surprised to find that it notified me of a driving hazard (a trashcan on the road) in my lane a few seconds before I would have hit it. Does anyone know how they detect something like that ?

"Also EV trucks are allowed another 2k pounds" - Ah that explains the 82,000lbs mentioned in the Tesla demo. Max weight for conventional trucks is 80K.

There were about 10-12 concrete barriers as load in the demo each weighing 39,000lbs. So the weight being carried is around 40ishK lbs. So rough approximation - half the weight of the truck is load and half is the truck itself.

Client/Consumer CPUs(Ryzen) is just one business for AMD. The others are graphics (Radeon), datacenter (EPYC), and embedded (Xilinx, PS & Xbox consoles). The one year forecast will probably have to be adjusted based on current unexpected economic conditions but they will keep growing.

What folks don't appreciate is that AMD is on a roll. A clear roadmap and processes in place to execute like clockwork in tandem with TSMC. Intel can easily bounce back in about 3-4 years if they fix their foundry issues.
