One of the worst technologies I've had the misfortune of being forced to use honestly. It's always confusing and always breaking or not working as I expect across my devices?

Isn't this going to materially impact the quality of the AI response if it has to take into account paid advertising? :(
Cerebras does not share the quantization of the models so you don't know if you're getting real K3 or k3 lite or something else.
Sincerely try Cursor and Grok 4.6. I think I can't go back to a TUI anymore for regular dev work. We used to stomach the CLI because it had the better models, but that's not the reality today.
My same progression here. I started with ChatGPT website, then Anthropic website, then Cursor, then Windsurf!, then claude, then opencode, then ohmypi, then codex, finally back on Cursor now because I think they cracked the UX for what great dev looks like. The grok 4.5 fast model + cursor ergonomics is insanely good!
The cost of me moving around these different AI models and harnesses was pretty much 0.
"federation" has a certain stink to it, I regret creating an account just now. I didn't realize it was that type of website.
I wish OpenAI had a family plan. I would love to pay and have my wife and kids use ChatGPT on a single subscription.
Not my experience at all. I've been using Cursor hardcore for about two weeks now and Composer 2.5 and it's wonderful. Now with Grok 4.5 I'm quite excited about the possibilities.
Anthropic's behavior is why I don't use their models or advocate for them anymore. They behave icky, like a tick trying to suck the blood from everyones public web contributions THEN lock down everything THEN attempt to legislate open source.
If you're a software engineer you should do your best to advocate for more open tools and treat this company as radioactive.
Opencode/Pi/ohmypi are much better than claude code. And with models like GLM/Kimi/Qwen you can get really really far. Add in a design tool like Paper so your AI can "see" what it's designing and you can close the gap incredibly tight.
Try it and free yourself.
Not intelligence improvement, but the improvements to speed are tangible. In my case I've gotten so used to the speed of Composer 2.5 that using the latest Anthropic models frustrates me. They are so slow, and not really worth the wait times since Composer gets me what I need precisely, much faster. I think you'll see labs care a lot more about latency and tokens per second moving forward.
this requires us to move faster and operate leaner than we have before
To do it, we're shifting our pace of innovation, simplifying how we operate, and investing in new skills. That's what this reorganization is for: a simpler structure, with fewer layers, less complexity, and less friction.
Translation: We're going to run the remaining people ragged.
That means fewer layers, broader ownership, clearer accountability, and a sharper focus on the skills we believe matter most for what's ahead.
Yeah the people remaining are cooked.
It's never "we're going to hire more people to build lots of cool stuff" it's always giving fewer people quadruple the responsibility expectation.
My experience as well unfortunately :(
Morale must be so in the dumps at Meta. No direction, no clear next thing... :(
A betting market??
brother laser printer. never "dries" and prints many many pages. last time we bought a refill was about 2 years ago with 3 school age kids.
I can vouch for ohmypi, it's quite good out of the box and works great with your codex subscription or openrouter or fireworks etc. Very good harness.
it seems you're just very angry in general. maybe step away from the keyboard.
Be a little more fair to Omarchy's strengths. It stitches together many things that work really well together. Hyperland is terrific for example and going back to windows/mac feels ancient in comparison. It's a good thing someone built omarchy.
Thanks to Valve, I've now been using Omarchy as my operating system for months now. Gaming just works on Linux now. It's crazy, used to be a pipe dream!
I'm buying the Steam Machine as well to game on the couch. Give me 4k 60fps and that's all I need. The Steam Controller is also fantastic shape on my hands, very comfortable.
might as well use openclaw at this point. that's the same vibe I'm getting with bun. from engineering excellence and jesus this guy really sweats the details (using zig woah!) to wow this is just openclaw ai permagenerated stuff. not a fan
These bastards already prevent me from buying a BYD car, and a xiaomi phone, and they are adamant about me not using a chinese AI model. I hope they do not succeed.
I own a z fold 6.
If I try Graphene what do I lose? Similar to how if you use something like icefox or icewolf one of those very secure browser, lots of normie websites like banking just straight up don't work. What would I lose by moving away from samsung's default to this more private OS?
On the flipside, I enjoy Cursor now and came back to it after leaving it over a year ago. The 2.5 model is fast as hell and very good. And whatever harness they have it's terrific, great results. I also really enjoy the fact that I can open my website in the Cursor in-app browser and just click and reference stuff. It's a really cracked workflow. The models can only get better for them.
I ain't reading allat. Fix your website bro!
Woah, feels like Intercom just threw in the towel. I always thought they if anyone would be the ones to come out on top for customer support. Their brand was #1 in perceived cutting edge in my eyes.
Par 6 seem impossible? At least 15 necessary at the least?
Big source of my depressive feelings today come from this. I see people online quite excited about AI output, nobody cares anymore. This was supposed to be a tool to elevate the quality of work, not vomit things out and put out fires like Orks trying to land a flaming plane with no wheels.
The damage is done. If you're in engineering, think hard about using Claude for your work. This is not a moral company.
God bless the Chinese companies releasing true open source models. Imagine a world without them, we would be at the mercy of unscrupulous people.
That's Kryten, woah! :D Huge fan of Red Dwarf
Guaranteed nobody is reading the code being merged in. It's vibes all the way down.
Oh hell no. "Let me steal your secret keys" basically. This submission should be removed.
