I flip back and forth every year or so between wanting more fun in my software, and wanting it to get the hell out of my way.

absolutely nothing I say represents my employer, like duh, I'm a drone not the ceo.
problem with doing the models in western restaurants is they'd have to get them redone every 6 months when they get a new chef because I swear I haven't seen a menu stay consistent for longer than that in ages.
I've been hearing "Eternal September" for a few things over the past few days what does that mean? Just annoyance at new users or tourists or what?
makes sense most browsers don't allow autoplaying sound without interaction first.
You're stupid.
I respect you not linking the website to farm clicks. That said, drop the website link please.
Personally I believe being an asshole to people is doing something wrong.
I never ran into it making commits before but when I tried Fable it made a bunch of commits signed by Claude, but then in the next prompt I just said "don't make commits anymore" and it was like "okay" and saved its own little md file and it hasn't happened sense.
I want to be clear that I'm not saying this to discredit the people saying they can't get claude to stop making its own commits, I'm just adding data to the "wow this is inconsistent" collection.
I always just find stuff like that charming. I love seeing relics of the time in which something was made. I love seeing dated pop culture references, it's one of my favorite things about engaging with old media.
must be nice
yes but things on the ground are exposed to significantly more dirt and critters than things suspended off the ground.
I know there's profit in solar, but the game is rigged to favor oil and gas so that's still more profitable for the people who make the decisions.
No, it's cultural-other pareidolia
Which is just odd to me because why are we holding one of the cleanest means of generating electricity to a higher standard than like, coal and oil? Why does solar have to have 0 footprint when everything else gets as much of a footprint as it wants? (I know the answer is profit)
Exactly. For example, I think the lifted solar panels that have been popping up over parking lots are a perfect win-win. Cars get shade, power gets generated, it's out of the way of most day-to-day threats, and if they have to do repairs, it's just blocking off part of a parking lot instead of a major thoroughfare.
If there's a single downside I'm not sure what it is.
there may be solutions to it but there are just already existing places to put solar panels that don't even require coming up with solutions.
I'll never understand why people latch onto these kinds of solar "solutions" in search of problems. Like that solar roadways fiasco a decade or so ago.
Just normal-ass solar is already safe proven and effective. Why do we need to remix it when there are still so many easy wins to be achieved?
God that's sad. We really can't have anything nice.
probably just a spammer
No because I believe you CAN reason a person out of a position they reasoned themselves into, but if they hold a position that they DIDN'T reason themselves into, THEY have to do the reasoning.
I always interpreted it more as saying that the person has to reason themselves out of their position.
A similar saying that I think I picked up here would be, "I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you."
Everyone should do their best to take down or disable every one they see in my opinion.
it's actually the entire party that's propping him up. If it was just trump he would be living on the street.
You really thought you ate with this huh
I'm sorry but this is so naive
Yup. Unfortunately landlords have plenty of time to lobby against things like this while the rest of us are busy contributing to society.
unsurprisingly I also have that as a hobby
I've been collecting physical music my whole life and there were times that I tried to get everything on CD, times I tried to get everything on vinyl, times I've tried to go fully digital, and the pattern I've fallen into now in my late 30s is buying music on whatever medium was popular when it came out.
I've now got a pretty mixed collection of records, tapes, CDs, digital music, and even a rockbox modded ipod. An added facet of fun for me when I find new music is to decide what the most thematically appropriate format to own it is.
For example I own the CD for Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay because there's a CD in the art, and it feels like a very 00s album, but for vaporwave I almost exclusively buy cassettes.
This is completely unrelated to the topic at hand, but what iot blinds do you use?
It will never make sense to me why KVMs are such a hard problem to solve. It seems like something we should have a good answer for by now but we still really just don't without dropping hundreds of dollars, and even then it still feels like a crap shoot.
