So they are not rationalist then?
one doesn't simply become rational just by calling oneself rationalists.
Dawkins has unbelievably heated arguments over frankly nothing.
and that's without talking about all the problematic views held by him...
what a bizarre article, completely disconnected from reality. in what world is manufacturing, a sector that has been neglected for decades at this point, having any sway on politics in Britain.
why does The Economist have so much disdain of manufacturing and people who work in it? look at China, look at their manufacturing industry and what they are able to do with it. then look at the UK, who is struggling to build Hinkley Point C, or HS2 (projected to be the most expensive high-speed rail in the world btw). The Economist is an absolute f*ing joke.
If you did read the paper, you'd have noticed that people who slept more regularly in this research were also wealthier, and more physically active. They did say they adjusted for these variables, but who knows. Maybe they didn't adjust them enough, maybe there are more covariates they didn't consider.
Holy Dunning–Kruger effect...
As a software developer, I am a much better doctor than actual trained doctors, and am definitely immune to any placebo effects.
what would be a non-pilled way of saying the same thing?
The audacity to ask for donations to cover for their own mistake
a floating player you can drag
you can drag only by clicking on a ui element that has no indication that it can be dragged.

Just get a keyboard that supports custom firmware and go wild with it. You can do whatever you want.
I mean, you prompted something useful out of an AI, good job. But then use that to ask for donation? Feels weird, man.
if someone told you to `rm -rf --no-preserve-root`, and you did it without even checking what the command does. is it their fault or yours?
This is basically a lose-lose situation: extra bureaucracy for development projects that actually benefits the local residents (planning applications can get to thousands of pages long, and the whole process takes a really long time [0]), and local residents don't actually get the benefits intended by policies like this. The only people this benefits are those who have a lot of money to throw at things like this.

these videos are as close as we can get to plant electrodes directly in your brain's reward center, and repeatedly pressing the "reward" button. obviously not everyone is the same, but if it hits it hits hard.
is that normal? in UK you can extend a visa or apply for ILR without leaving the country.
Can't find full list either, but it at least includes Bing and Google: https://support.startpage.com/hc/en-us/articles/452243553384...
open source nvidia is an area to keep an eye on. check out NVK and nova.
That's mad. Gitlab feels like software made by 50 people. Consider how unpolished it is and how slow it is moving.
I think the whole codebase was more or less written by AI...

Have you warned Gabe about this
seems like an account reposting stuff to get attention to advertise his AI stuff.
There always will be old games that will never be ported to Linux.
esync and fsync both use mainline kernel features.
Maybe this is why? Most of the training data has the single token version, so the three tokens version was undertrained?
i don't have an openai subscription, but i still want to participate
