Admittedly I don't have much life wisdom, but my strong intuition is happiness is a measure, not a target, and you shouldn't optimize for it. All this "science of happiness" talk feels, I don't know, spiritually offputting.

Why would watching or possession of evidence of abuse against a person be an offense against a person? Other than potential second-order effects that may or may not occur like increase in demand for abuse?
I think it's perceived as abhorrent mostly because it's an evidence of the person watching being sexually interested in kids.
Should it apply also to drawings? Detailed descriptions? Strong mental visualisations?
I can understand there are acceptable reasons other than intimidation to check on people sending letters like this, but this absolutely is non-violent criticism.
It's inherently hard to get along with people you don't share values with, and the culture war got extra vicious. But I wouldn't call the people throwing racial and sexual slurs more intolerant of the outgroup than the other side (the people deciding to get offended), if anything, they seem to have thicker skin when it comes to differences in worldview.

Basic SQLi, XSS, or buffer overflow attacks are equally trivial and stem from the same underlying problem of confusing instructions with data. Sophistication and creativity arises from bypassing mitigations and chaining together multiple vulnerabilities. I think we'll see the same with prompt injections as the arms race progresses.

To me it's weird that they're willing to misuse browser APIs so blatantly for interprocess communication, when, as I understand it, server-side correlation using a combination of IP, battery level and screen dimensions probably already gets them 95% of the surveillance capability.
