Somehow I put together an interactive ROI calculator with Vue.js in a prior role but I also just learned that if you have an array of numbers 'nums' in vanilla JavaScript and call 'nums.sort()' it doesn't actually sort it in ascending order! I already got the executing 'rm -rf *' in production screw up out of the way. I'm looking for an entry level position or maybe something more junior than that. Consensus is not a necessary condition for truth. An idea can have no one believing it and be correct, and another idea can have everyone believing it and be wrong.
Very cool. Is this open hardware? That is, something public you could download and 3d print? My mind is already buzzing with half-baked ideas of how I might utilize this in my garden.
I have experienced this several times and almost never have a headache. I definitely can't read what's beyond/obscured by the scotoma. The first time it happened was during a test in high school and the splotch grew until I was forced to read the questions in my peripheral.
I have an anecdote that corroborates your observation that cognitive experiences are more complicated then assumed: I was once very, very sleep deprived. I became aware that my body was reacting to something, as if there was a jump scare in a movie, I unconsciously flinched and pulled away from something without knowing why, and then a perceptual moment later, I heard a loud noise caused by something falling to the floor.
It looks nice. The "Midomi" tile has a minor spelling error: "dentify" and the utm parameters sometimes suggest that this website is an email.

My Process and Tools: I started by writing in plain text with vim. I found [bookdown](https://bookdown.org/) and I had some prior experience with R so I decided to try it out. Using bookdown, it turned out I didn't have to use any R at all. I used [Rstudio's bookdown-demo repo](https://github.com/rstudio/bookdown-demo) to get started right away. I converted my txt into Rmd files in Rstudio and used the console to build html and pdf files of the book. The html files use a git-book format. LaTeX is necessary for the pdf generation, and can be used in the .Rmd files but I didn't need this ability for this text.
I'm glad you shared. It's funny as CNC/fabrication is something appealing to me right now. Our stories might end up thematically parallel but reversed.
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your advice. My "pipe dream," if you will, is that someone here knows of something I haven't yet even considered and will suggest it. I'm also hoping that people have stories of when they jumped from point A and landed at point B, whatever those were. It's nice to hear those sorts of stories, and maybe I or somebody else here will read their story and it will help.

When I was a university student, I taught a lot of my friends how to cook simple things. I made pasta for my roommates and taught them how to make it themselves. One roommate was getting the hang of things, and would assist me. He went to start rice, and made the rather fair assumption that it'd be just like making pasta, so he salted the water a similar amount. When the water had cooked off, it was some very salty rice we had.
Definitely not without calculus! I'm imagining an approach focusing on numerical methods that would have students working on problem sets in computer labs e.g. a first problem set might include simulating a 1-D heat equation using the finite difference method.
I romanticize doing something like this, but my lack of experience in sales and lack of knowledge in general business dealings prevent me from going at it alone. I'd like a partner who complements my skill set. Reiterating another commenter's point, being on call 24/7 doesn't sound fun either.
Gilbert Strang advocates for more emphasis on linear algebra over calculus. Linear algebra is incredibly powerful stuff without even adding a computer into the consideration. The overlap here is so cool to me. Finite Elements, PDEs, and all sorts of engineering methods/tools live in the space where computer science and linear algebra overlap.

I was in a similar situation. They gave me a November date, but the 5th circuit stayed OSHA's ETS so they gave it up, at least temporarily. I absolutely want to get out of the suburbs and start homesteading.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can weigh in-- I'm just speculating from a lay perspective. The bottle configuration likely means less states are available due to the confines of the system, and these states are higher energy. I'm thinking something like the Casimir effect, where the boundaries of the system impose conditions that limit the total number of states. Could this explain the discrepancy? Something that could potentially corroborate this idea is comparing those boundary conditions. Do neutrons in larger "bottles" decay slower, and neutrons in smaller "bottles" decay into protons even faster?
