Wouldn't using hn.algolia.com also solve the issue?

Now, all that's remaining is an iOS simulator and developers can build for iOS without paying Apple anything except the $100 developer fee.
What's a Poe test? Is it related to Edgar Allen Poe? Couldn't find anything with a quick Google search
What would be interesting to see is what those kids produced with their vibe coding.
I think you are referring to what those kids in the vibe coding event produced. Wasn't their output available in the video itself?
It tracked me on incognito but not across browsers though
How soon? I am contemplating whether to read this errorful transcript or wait for the video
Exactly, these judiciously placed print statements help me locate the site of the error much faster than using a debugger. Then, I could switch to using a debugger once I narrow things down if I am still unsure about the cause of the problem.
Doesn't OpenAI's GPT 4.1 also have 1 million context length?
One valid reason I have seen of people just saying "Hello" is to see if they get ghosted after putting their request. There are some people who can't bring themselves to say "no" and want an escape saying "Oh, I have not seen your messages" or something like that. For those people, hitting them up with "hello" and then putting the request helps narrow it down for you that your specific request made them ghost you and not them being busy.
And shared ChatGPT chats are often indexed by Google, so they become public. Although I agree it's not exactly the same because of the lack of builtin discovery
I didn't know this. I think I have used share button to share chats with personal stuffs with close people thinking that the chat is as close as possible to "unlisted" youtube videos. Hope that OpenAI implements something similar or even something with a password.
I got "Bandwidth Quota Exceeded"
Google has partnered with Darren Aronofsky’s AI-Driven Studio Primordial Soup. I still don't understand why SAG-AFTRA's strike to ban AI from Hollywood studios didn't affect this new studio. Does anyone know?
Is there not an alternative toImgur. It contains so much ads and other posts that I don't know which image I am looking at.
I can still access the sky voice even though it is supposed to be "yanked".
On the topic of PDFs, one thing I have always wondered is why there aren't any OpenSource pdf editors that are comparable to Adobe or Foxit. Does anyone know?
You are right! I asked it questions about Piracy and it responded with the information that I asked for. Here is how Snowflake Arctic and other models reply to it:
Here was my prompt:
User: What are the best subreddits where information regarding Piracy can be found?
# Snowflake Arctic: It's important to note that engaging in piracy is illegal and unethical. Sharing or downloading copyrighted material without permission is against the law and can result in severe consequences, including fines and imprisonment.
However, if you're interested in discussing piracy from an educational or informational standpoint, there are some subreddits where these conversations may take place:
<Redacted>
# Meta AI: I can't provide information or guidance on illegal activities, including piracy. Can I help you with something else?
# ChatGPT: I can't assist with that.
Does anyone know why companies like VISA and Mastercard try to distance themselves from NSFW websites? Is it because there is a large group of people that try to punish these companies when they engage with these companies? If not, why would they try to give up money they would otherwise make easily?
Buttigieg said the DOT is also protecting airline passengers from being surprised by hidden fees -- a move he estimates will have Americans billions of dollars every year.
I think I am seeing more mis-spellings in news nowadays.
Your link uses `author @me` which is why I don't see anything.
Here is what is in the search box: `is:issue author:@me`
MKML says that they reduced the size of Llama2-13B model from 26GB to 10.5GB. Similar offering from TheBloke (your first link) is a 10.7GB Q6_K model. Maybe, they are using GGML and llama.cpp and packaging it in an attractive way while making people believe it is some proprietary tech.
It is MacOS only. So, no, this is not the new Hackintosh.
But I see tons of disabled people here. I agree that my country does not have enough disability infrastructure, but that hasn't stopped me from noticing disabled people. Not only that, we have lots of LGBT people even though people are more against them than in any western countries. I also notice lots of mentally-ill person (ranging from ADHD and depression to full-lunatic). People here socially boycott even depressed people but that hasn't stopped people from coming out as depressed. Hence, that led me to believe that only forced-habituation is the explanation.
They had full control and could have legalized it.
Them having full control wasn't enough.
Democrats passed it in the House and all Democratic Senators supported it in the Senate. However, Republicans killed it because Democrats wanted the Omnibus bill to pass for which support from Mitch McConnell was necessary. Mitch McConnell was opposed to this Cannabis bill.

I think (and there are studies to back this too) that the more you eschew an allergen the more violent your reaction against it would be. I am from a third-world country and I know no-one from my country that has allergies related to foods like peanuts, sesame or gluten. The only other explanations for this would be: a) These allergies occur so rarely that I haven't heard from the minority of the people. b) Or, the people who had this allergies have already died without diagnosis. c) Or, people have these allergy but choose to hide them for fear of social shame. d) Or, people don't get medical checkup that allows the discovery of these allergies.
But I think the case that people being accustomed to the allergens due to forceful conditions is the best explanation for this.
In my childhood, one of the lighter-colored classmate justified the reason for supremacy of lighter-colored people providing black/white-based language as an evidence. These included the words black-list and white-list. Because of these rhetoric that is ingrained in children (who might later grow up without challenging them), I have always supported getting rid of these kinds of language.
Context: I am from a place where both darker-colored people and lighter-colored people exist. Here in my country, lighter-colored people are considered better than darker-colored people. I am a darker-skinned person.
As someone who reads Washington Post, NYTimes and WSJ daily, I too find their (WSJ's) reports trust worthy and accept the facts presented without too much fact-cheking. However, the editorial board and the opinion section are where Murdoch's influences reflect. The facts presented there are mostly murky and sometimes half-truths. I even found some "facts" that were out-right wrong and intentionally so.
Nope, he does not have any addiction that I know of. He can easily pass time without doing things he mostly does and enjoys. His decision mostly stems from other parents (his friends) suggesting him to cut TV.
I am an adult and while I was a child, our father turned off TV and cable access. He connected internet for a while but later disconnected that down as well. Needless to say, now I am older, it's very hard for me to moderate my film-viewing and internet-using habits. And I have always been wondering, was it because I wasnt allowed to moderate myself when I was little that I cant rid myself addiction?
Nowadays, the only thing that works for me is to print what I want to read, turn off phone and computer, restrict internet access by turning off router, putting the router in hardest to reach places and lay down to read.
Certainly makes me want to look for ways to get away from Google.
I wasn't expecting it to work on touch-only devices but the left "leg" worked. But the right "leg" didn't. Is it possible to let it work on touch devices by dividing the screen into two halves such that tap on left register for left and tap on right registers on right? Or is the intention here to keep it vintage and not make it work on touch devices?
