I'm going through something similar, wish they fire me to be able to apply for employment insurance (http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/sc/ei/index.shtml) and "not work" (develop my own projects) for a while. But no, they love all the whizzy automation that I've created and have saved them month's of work.
On the iPhone the header doesn't take the whole width.
I had a similar experience with Amazon, they refunded me the extra bluray remote for the PS3 and told me to donate it and even said that maybe my local library would want it (???).
I'm using the cozy theme/setting and the padding keeps jumping from small to the cozy mode which is annoying. Anyone experiencing this?
One of the biggest pluses of an IDE is the contextual access to the API. This helps a lot when learning a new language/framework.
I haven't used many IDEs lately by when I was learning Java, netbeans was my best friend.
Aside from that, maybe the easy access to debugging. Although tests have made debugging less necessary for me.
A coworker always forgets to un-mute his phone when asked a question. The longest time waiting for an answer has been about 2 minutes xD
He never fails to do it.
In Alberta a new law was passed that bans all this stuff, including while on a red light.
I guess this is to prevent people from not noticing when the green light goes on. I don't think I've seen any less people talking on their phones while driving though :(

This makes sense as an experment, and I don't really doubt Apple wants this eventually. i wonder what will happen first, Apple pulling the trigger on the switch to ARM or ARM matching in speed to current-time intel.
What strikes me as weird is that the source couldn't pinpoint if it was iOS or MacOS, which is cool because it means it looked completely different that both (a good sign that Apple is not settling down).

Apple makes awesome software to boost the hardware sales, cheaper software lowers the barrier for people to buy the hardware.
So you think it's a problem on how specific apps are coded? (please see my comment above).

What I meant by my original comment is that for me it doesn't work as I'd like. It may be an issue with the apps I use or iOS's way of doing multi-tasking.
I listen to 5by5 podcasts (atomic web browser) and follow the discussions on irc (Colloquy for iPad).
I someone posts a link on the irc and I follow it when I come back to colloquy I don't get any of the messages sent while I wasn't looking...
When I use the AndChat in my Nexus One I can happily go watch a lolcat and when I get back I can read all of the I can haz messages everyone sent while I was looking at the site.
That use case is the one I consider broken in iOS, maybe Apple doesn't care about people who still use irc or maybe it's Colloquy that's broken.
I agree with this. I have a nexus one and an ipad and if apple gets multitasking correctly when I decide to change phone I'll probably go with an iPhone.
