The human making the decision is always liable.
What if the human couldn't reasonably know better? Doesn't matter - If they made the same decision without AI or with old files it is still on them.
What if there's no single human decision? Someone is in charge and is responsible. The "I was ordered to" isn't a defense.
Does liability without power make sense? People executing have the power to execute. So liability. If they're executing without power that is a different liability, but a liability.
It may let the powerful off the hook - That is already a theme and AI doesn't change that, in fact, it will just be used as another scapegoat.

This work great for me too, when learning something new the LLM brings in all sorts of perspectives and contexts I don’t know about yet.
It pulls in info from the docs, forums, code samples, shows me how things are connected, and may even suggest why something is good or bad.
Plenty of opportunity to look up docs I didn’t even know about yet.

In the US the fundamental Christians are grabbing power and they're taking flamethrowers to books and talking about tracking women who may go across state-lines to get an abortion. Self-censorship for fear of being 'canceled' is putting a damper on the spirit of freedom. It's perhaps more along the lines of Fahrenheit 451.

I just created a new scene in Unity 2020.3.5 and terrain going out to 6000 and a simple camera fly-script to fly around and it all looks good to me - no shaking.
Using 32-bit floating point you'll have 0.1 accuracy up to 100000 at least.
Edit - I just realized 10cm accuracy is not great (and that I'm talking to myself) so I tested with 0.001 and that's stable up to 9000.

Sounds like a correlation that misses the point, general health prolongs life, couch-potatoes die sooner and have worse quality of life their last 30 years or so. And setting up for good health in advanced age starts decades earlier.
Try comparing someone who does grip-strength training only vs someone who does heavy dead-lifts, both into their 80s.
My money will be on the dead-lift guy, not just having a better quality of life until his last day, but also living longer.

It's up to Ukraine if they want to pursue NATO membership or any other agreement with any country or organization.
Russia has no say. It's not a negotiation between NATO and Russia. Russia isn't at the table. They can pine for old USSR glory all they want but nobody else wants that.
And the way Putin's been killing journalists and dissidents (in the UK no less), raiding the treasury, annexing Crimea, and other nonsense, I don't see them being invited to many negotiations in the future.
I think economics is a major hurdle for Ukrainian EU membership. Their GDP/capita is less than $4,000. EU average is 8x that.
I'm sure there are many other issues as well.
NATO membership is entirely voluntary.
As such, there haven't been any "pushing of boundaries" unless you presume Russia gets to decide what independent nations like Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, etc. may or may not do.
