I believe one of Graphene OS's main features is that they allow you to run google play services in a sandboxed environment, so you can run your standard google apps but without the standard android deal where google play services has unfetteted access to all your phone's location/data/etc info

The much greater risk is burnt meat like chargrilled chicken etc. Yes sure, burnt toast is carcinogenic, but relatively speaking it's not going to cause much harm.
What ddr5 speed are you running? 6000 is technically an over clock, AMD only guarantees being able to run at something like 4800 or 5200.
You may need to bump up voltages slightly for your CPU's IMC (I needed to on my ryzen 8700F to run 6000 stable). Its CPU sample dependant.
Also as other commenter pointed out, typically 4 sticks will achieve lower stable clocks
Some people simply have better hearing than others.
Also, you can train yourself for what to listen for, to a point.
ReactOS also deserves an honorary mention. A lot of knowledge from that project feeds into Wine.
I heard BSD is dying?
Qt is arguably the best cross platform toolkit to target when writing big/complex apps
This sounds like a USA problem..
You're absolutely right.
When opening a jpg, it literally says "importing pic.jpg" when opening a jpg
What about microplastics?
Not until Netcraft confirms.
Unfortunately it's the only viable (if only somewhat) non-blink web engine that is designed to be easily embedded in other software.
I don't know why, but architecturally Mozilla has gone down the route of making gecko tied to Firefox, and not easily embeddable.
But is it illegal to own a car that someone else parked in the wrong pkace?
This is compounded by modern lifestyle factors such as staying indoors more, keeping the windows closed to help the aircon/heating be more efficient, etc.
I think a lot of people would be surprised at the CO2 level in different indoor environments they spend time in each day.
It's not just an assumption, there is research that shows this.
For example: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/as-co2-levels-ris...
More specifically, yes, protein content decreases with rising CO2 levels. Maybe not enough to cause obesity on its own, but enough to be a compounding factor. Especially when your staple is, say, rice -- which is what the paper linked above looks at.
I think for Firefox to be successful in breaking free from google funding is to make gecko easily embeddable in other apps, ala WebKit / electron / etc. I think it would get more funding from a wider variety of independent parties that way. Unfortunately they seem to have gone in the opposite direction... Although I am sure they have their reasons.
You could run in a VM - check out WinBoat which allows individual apos in a containerised Windows install to integrate seamlessly with your linux desktop environment
Yes, and not all Asians are chinese
I remember a 1D roguelike someone made for a 24h competition, was surprisingly fun
Are there any themes that allow changing window border size, title bar size, scrollbar width etc, like win 9x?
This is still a problem. There are a lot of, eg, realtek chipsets that don't work well or simply don't work on Linux.
Another issue is they advertise "Linux support," which actually translates to: minimally working driver source available for very out-of-date kernel. Good luck if you want to rely on upstreamed drivers or even run a recent kernel.
I've also had the same thought...
On the bright side, hopefully rising memory prices will give Microsoft and its ilk the kick up the pants they need to reduce memory usage in Windows et al
P10 primera (1st gen infinity G20, for the Americans) was a great handling car... I think the front suspension was a very similar setup to the 300zx. Bit hard to find parts for these days unfortunately.
Currently I drive an 8th gen civic which I'd rate on par handling wise and is much more safer and modern...
What I am uncomfortable with is the inability to run Wayland on older video hardware. X11 will happily run with Vesa driver on older hardware which no longer has functional 3D accelerated drivers.
What is the way forward for the retro community to run a modern Wayland system on older hardware?
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in or correct me
It seems we have come full circle back to Win 95 days...
I also seem to remember reading retention is proportional to temperature at time of write. Ie, best case scenario = write data when drive is hot, and store in freezer. Would be happy if someone can confirm or deny this.
One of my friends has the latest Apple Airpods. He has had various (expensive) hearing aids over the years but these are much better for him (and cheaper). For the first time he can actually hear everything going on
