I dont think is something in specific but I used to love the simplicity of PostHog and that's why I pushed my team moving to it from Google Analytics.

That has changed though. Last time I used PH, I found myself not finding the things I needed so ended up connecting the mcp and asking claude to change things for me.

MCP was a nice addition, so thanks for that. The problem of mcp is that it prevents product discoverability. You are adding many things lately and since I'm using the MCP for my "part of the job" I will never visit your site anymore and see what's new.

I used to like their product but now they too many modules and knobs that I find it difficult to understand and navigate.

I think is a bit of product slopification.

Maybe their LLMs are not the best but design is top-notch!

I'm from a "southern" country and I lived in Germany for 10 years. My kids were born there.

Last year we decided to move to my home country because of "too many things" but also fed up of feeling an immigrant.

Few months ago I met a German family living around here in a coastal area. I asked them why they moved here and they answered me straight to my face "Because in Germany there are too many immigrants". I think the joke tells itself.

As you might have learned from life, things are not binary.

I'm happy that China is doing that. US cannot be trusted anymore.

Not saying that China can be trusted either, but I think having more actors is better for all of us.

Just an anecdote,

I lived in China for a bit years ago and one the biggest issues accessing western websites weren't restrictions against the site. Most of the times the culprit was using CDNs or services from Google or Cloudflare which were restricted totally or partially.

I was working on a site around that time, learned about that fixed it for the chinese user base, after that users from china went up considerably.

I had the same idea in mind, would you mind sharing how you do it? I also use 2 phones, GrapheneOS as my daily, another phone at home just with banking stuff and some other crappy apps.

Few questions if you dont mind answering: - do you have to keep the phone screen switched on? - Do you access via VNC? - Can you access it from another phone? is it usable?

German industry is changing a lot loosing against China, so they have been moving to war related stuff for the past years. Personally, I know a bunch of people who were offered get transferred from VW to a military drone company.

On one side I understand that manufacturing a lot of weapons could be somehow a protection for the future, but also Germany provides a lot of ammunition to Israel that is killing thousands of innocents in Gaza and Lebanon. Germany is friend of Israel despite many people disliking it in Germany (they are still waving Israeli flags in many official places).

Also, weapons will lead to more weapons, more violence and more war, specially if you have investors behind willing to see their shares going up...

I guess it depends from which angle you see this. Things are not black & white.

"Cercanias" is a different rail network to the one where the accident happened (high-speed). Also the political issue that you are mentioning happened 5 years ago on a single individual not directly affiliated to the organization that manages the rail network. Please let's be serious and bring constructive things to the conversation

I updated my iphone and I really regret it. I really dislike the new effects. The new overlays are very hard to read, my iphone 13 mini feels slower than before. Also I find the UI in a bunch of places very annoying. Like for example now I have to tap twice in the url bar in safari to enter an url. Once to make the bubble bigger then to be able to input...

I hope I can downgrade...

if we continue this direction, in a couple of years, a feature phone might be an excellent choice!

It is well known that Israel uses botnets and user-controlled fake accounts to steer public opinion in social media.

Reddit, youtube, instagram and lots of media outlets are flooded with pro-israeli propaganda or massive downvoting to any critizism against Israel. Also here in hacker news...

I've never felt comfortable using Microsoft, Google, Meta, etc products.

In the recent months and with the increasing possibilities of surveillance with AI and how they are controlling the narrative of things, it made me feel incredibly uneasy. No more of these products on my devices.
