not zsh .. plugging my bash script [1] (and gnome task bar UI) - to start a gnome terminal with a different named history file. [1]: https://github.com/appsmatics/gtsh-hist

I have a FW13, 3 yrs old, battery was getting weak, i just ordered one from FW and popped out the old one and put in a new one. Same for SSD and memory. This alone makes me stay with FW.
Are many of the packages obfuscated? Seems like here the server url was heavily obfuscated and encrypted, that is a big warning flag is it not. Auto scanning a submitted package and flagging off obfuscated / binary payloads / install scripts for further inspection could help. Am wondering how such packages get automatically promoted for distribution ..
pardon the naive question. What i don't get is these injected payload are js files, isn't there some scanning at npm upload level to look for exfiltration behaviour, bash executions of dangerous commands like rm or shred ?
.. would you mind sharing the prompt .. in a gist perhaps .
.. did exactly that and also changed the BINDIR and LIBDIR to another location. BTW, amazing project from initial glance. Will give it a detailed look this weekend!
Really neat. i tried a couple and it worked fine for my use case which is mainly adding a signature .. Any chance the signature size can be adjusted by dragging a corner ?
Hey cool will see how much more it is from what I have. (Ubuntu/bash only atm) .. https://github.com/appsmatics/linux-setup
.. have added a gist in comments below, i got used to saving separate history files for each project and launch gnome-terminal with that .. and Ctrl-R within that scope
.. another cheap trick .. when juggling different projects i keep a separate history file for each under ~/.histories/ .. shameless plug to my gist .. bash script that launches gnome-terminal with a named history file ..

Sam could reply with Elon Skum !
Big fan of Sqlite and DRH. Wondering what the succession plan for sqlite is ? May DRH live long and prosper though !
There was a guy who collected tanks ! Had his collection up top of Portola Valley. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Vehicle_Technology_Fo...]
Can they at least change the name to from OpenAI to something else, and leave gutted OpenAI as the non-profit shell..
As the saying goes .. Vertrauen ist gut, aber Kontrolle ist besser! (Trust is good but verifying is better!)
.. same here FW13 12gen .. fast battery drain even in sleep mode. It is reported due to the expansion cards that I guess cannot be turned off ?
.. i replied to the main thread, if you want give my bash script a try. each project history is in its own named file .. https://gist.github.com/appsmatics/ff27e885460bd345eabe1c5f7...
Not the amazing utility Atuin is .. but have been using this tiny bash script to manage named history files that i find pretty useful when juggling between projects. Have to try out Atuin and see if it is easier to use. .. sharing the gist .. https://gist.github.com/appsmatics/ff27e885460bd345eabe1c5f7...
Hope it is the inflexion point ! moved to Linux (Ubuntu on Framework-13) since Nov 2022, not going back into walled gardens !
Touche. Got into Wails/Go recently for a desktop app. Everything fell in place in a short time. Even the junior contractor offshore with zero experience is able to contribute! (thanks to Wails also here .. using Svelte for the frontend .. love the lightning fast builds)
.. possibly a battery swap, a domestic setting getting to those MWs is out of the question. a 200 amp circuit in US at 220v is just about 44KW ..
.. can't those old accounts be flagged to require email verification to log in ?
.. wrote a simple script to maintain a different history per gnome-terminal. Not 100% mine, but extended it to a point where it is working great for me!
Congratulations on this and pretty cool design. I just got the map:clock for ios which shows a map with different city times. One feature in that is to be able to do what if .. a slider to modify the times and see the time at different locations. A slider or rotary dial to change the times would be a good feature for planning. Bookmarked ur clock !
Feature requests if i may pls ! 1) Adjust the time with a slider or dial 2) Put the second hand outside the dial 3) Same for min hand or show hide the min hand -Merci!
Cool. Will definitely check it out. Just moved everday usage to linux (Framework ftw!) and have been collating all notes / ideas from Evernote, Notes app, misc files into md ! So much more flexible and now lock in !!
thought Alltrails does ! its not automatic, but one can download for select routes .. oh must be a paid feature ..
It can incentivize rooftop solar which can supply the increased charging demand.
The planets are clickable on top ..
A shared housing model like umm ... WeLive ?! .. would love to experiment that model of minimalist living for a few years.
This is it. Moving to Framework. MB-Air is great, but the soldered in SSD / memory is a deal killer for me (.. except for the occasional need to build iOS apps, which even a used MBP can take care !) .. will put my /home in the expandable drive so I can simple unplug it and move it to my desktop .. 1513.00 with 1x16GB + 500GB Nvme + 1TB expandable .. can easily add another 16GB to it later ..
