There are no audits, there are no reports, there is little to no transparency with DOGE. They're gutting first, thinking later and it's costing us a ton. How can you trust an administration to expose corrupt spending when they freeze the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act?

that's fair. i was whack. one of my favorite lenses is a Sigma, i was just comparing to Leica and let some bias slip in.

Would you mind answering those questions? I love photography and when looking over a camera can get an idea around strengths/weaknesses. This seems like they wanted to cheap out on construction with fewer physical controls and still be able to advertise as a compact FF camera despite having a low MP sensor.

I think those folks would rather buy a Leica/Ricoh. what does this offer? worse glass, sensor, controls. I really don't get this camera.

also a 24mp FF sensor in 2024. is this supposed to be targeting lowlight photography?

the food i've gotten at konbini in japan is on par with specialty gas stations, such as KwikTrip, Casey's, Wawa or Buc-ees in the US. I don't trust food at my 7-11 at home. in japan they get shipments of fresh food _at least_ daily. Soba, onigiri, sandwiches aren't necessarily junk food but they had plenty of those options as well. The US is only junk food.

my garmin is currently low and i have 4 days of battery life or 2-3 long runs with gps and bluetooth enable left. with physical shortcuts to payment and timers, i haven't worn my apple watch in weeks

either way it sounds like they're stuck with poor testing around their code. that shows the devs probably don't understand the code which means fixing or changing things in the future will take longer.

I loved how they bridged the gaps. Further development of the world which made me appreciate Fury Road even more. When I saw the trailers I thought it looked terrible and was a cash grab. After a friend got me to go see it, I was happily proven wrong.

I don't think telling a story out of sequence from existing material means that it's a cash grab.

I actually liked it better than Fury Road. I think I didn't reflect enough during Fury Road to try and understand the world. I dismissed it as kinda silly and figured i should just suspend disbelief, but Furiosa does a bit more handholding and gives all the background and depth Fury Road hints toward. Rewatching Fury Road after Furiosa helped me appreciate it more.

Watching at home is such a diminished experience compared to a theater.
