For your average user, Sonnet is more than enough. Opus will be rarely used. Fable is really something professionals will use and even then with low frequency. The model is really good but the token economics don't make it so appealing to the amount and breadth of people you need to get people talking about Fable the way people talked about Chatgpt in 2022. AI fatigue is here and Anthropic and the like are fighting hopelessly against a rising tide.

This is pointless if IQ tests can be gamed. It's like those leetcode tests. Smart folk can pass them. But so can anyone that practices for them or anything adjacent to them.

Thus you don't need to be smart to pass the leetcode tests, just have enough time and resources to practice them over and over until you pass.

Different aims have different risk profiles though? Saving up 3 months to buy a car you can replace in 8 months if it breaks down is very different from deciding to quit your lucrative career to become a low paid artist which is different from giving up 18 years of your life to make a human who might need assistance from you for longer than 18 years and from other people once you die. Mortgages are also a different risk profile.

Aim at something yes. But don't be reckless or overly optimistic.

Mining work was unglamorous and dangerous but was needed. Labeling work is the mining of the AI era.

You don't become a Big Tech company by being ethical. It's like trying to become a world champion boxer by refusing to punch. Not happening.

The reality is that most of these self described rational and super intelligent devs who see themselves as good people refuse to accept that joining big tech and joining an ethical company are mutually exclusive by definition. Hence all the companies saying "We make the world a better place by doing x". Everyone knows it's not true. But it helps swallow the fantasy and selling your ethics for a big fat pay check every month.

The issue here is the Google-only remote attestation nonsense. It seems pointless to me. A device passing Google's attestation check tells you nothing. The device could well have malware on it and you won't know it. Integrity is a misnomer. The integrity scope is tiny.
