Technically no. Work and School dictate when we get up and go to bed. It's all relative. We could create a timezone where 12:00PM is in the morning. We are just used to this idea that morning, afternoon, evening, and night need to correspond to specific time values. For example, China uses just one timezone. So local regions just adapt to what logically makes sense. In a perfect world, local regions would adapt to the amount of daylight we have for each season, like it was before timekeeping and timezones. So school and work would shift when they start based off the rising of the sun. This isn't practical though for multiple reasons. It would cause chaos and confusion for work shifts, scheduling etc.

I've been using Hugo for the past 3 years. Biggest lesson I learned is to just fork the theme you're using and don't use submodules. There's no rush in keeping your theme up to date. Also you have complete control over the theme when its forked. I've only had stuff break on occasion when updating to a newer version of Hugo, had to change a couple things with the theme which did not take too long to fix. Curious to see how comments will be implemented though. Does not sound straightforward to add to a SSG.

No it's true. Companies like Insulet and Dexcom could send out lawsuits to all the open source projects out there that involved REing. Dexcom's glucose share API was REed years ago, and Dexcom hasn't even tried updating or stopping the use of unofficial APIs. All I'm saying is that the companies really don't care at all.

Oh well. The whole thing has already been reverse engineered. Look up Loop or Trio or OpenAPS. Diabetic companies like Insulet have been very lax when it’s come to the hacking of their devices. This isn’t really that big a deal. What we need right now is help REing the Omnipod 5

It still did a lot of good, but didn’t solve the root causes of our terrible healthcare system. It’s more of bandage on the system we have.

At this point we all know this is just a massive bubble. I'm done paying attention to it really. I'm prepared for all my investments to go down in the next 1-5 years. If you're nearing retirement now is the time to cash out. Yes, investments could go up in a value a lot until the correction, but I don't really think that is worth the risk.

When I was in the ICU for a few days (thankfully due to medical confusion and not a real condition) people reached out to see if I was ok and needed anything. I know people who discovered that a mutual friend died unexpectedly when their phone had been at the morgue for several days.

I feel like this kind of information can be found out by just naturally talking with others. Viewing your friend's and family's location all the time is just so unnecessary and overkill. If something is wrong, you simply reach out to others, they don't need to be actively checking your location to determine that. Yeah obviously the exception is crazy emergencies, but I think most people would take their chances than be this open to location sharing. Kids too make sense. Other than that, I don't believe location sharing to this degree should be normalized at all.

Agree, I do think Mazda gets it right though. No touch screen for most models. Screen is controlled with a knob. It’s a tiny bit clunky, but a million times better than all the touchscreen bs.
