It has that. Select the media you want to delete, tap & hold, then scroll to the right in the menu and select Delete from device. At least on Android this is the way.

Good EU regulations 11 months ago

Pets remove plastic and instead poison ourselves.

A 2023 Belgian study[0] tested 39 brands of straws (paper, bamboo, glass, stainless steel, and plastic):

Paper and bamboo straws most frequently contained PFAS, sometimes at high levels.

Plastic straws also contained PFAS, but less consistently.

Stainless steel straws were PFAS-free in that study.

I have tried Kagi for a month and it has been good. Clean results and on point for my basic searches compared to Google. Though not much different than when using my selfhosted searxng...

I am now trying to decide if I want it for the standard AI models or if I can continue scraping by the available free (restricted) offerings from various providers. There is a difference in the quality of responses between Chatgpt and when using Kagi. I guess that's what you get when using an agent...

Leaving a negative review is not outright illegal, but it can lead to legal consequences if deemed defamatory or false. If a review contains unsubstantiated claims or personal attacks, the business can pursue legal action for defamation.

The nuances of these laws can vary, so context matters significantly in legal interpretations.

Come if you want - 56% income tax - housing shortage which is leading to landlords charging 1.5k eur for just a room - ever increase in public transport (train) unreliability and degrading conditions (shorter carriages during peak times) - increasing health insurance costs with fewer benefits - diversity, inclusion and acceptance by the community - directness (although it's a fine line between being direct and rude so YMMV) - poldermodel (things may take a few iterations to get done)

"Additionally, the study was conducted at a single center in China, which may limit generalizability to other populations. The researchers also acknowledged that factors such as reinfection risk, vaccination status, and behavioral differences (e.g., medication adherence) could not be fully accounted for."

With no mention if the subjects were smokers, had diabetes, overweight or sedentary lifestyles seems to me like a wholelotta nothing burger.

Similar situation whereas instead of swapping cloud for cloud I purchased a QNAP which can run containers and have setup immich & caddy on that.

WAF is good and even grandparents are able to use the immich app to view photos.

And what if the government does eventually get its hands on aliens and their flying saucers? “It’s not their job [to keep it secret],” he says. “It would immediately get turned over to Nasa, and Nasa would immediately disclose it to everybody. That’s their job.”

Oh OK, NASA will disclose it like they did with the footage of a UFO entering earth(1)?

For those who are interested, these two podcasts are insightful (2) and (3).

I tried to join Google in that era, unsuccessfully. (I got surprised by a weird whiteboard interview, with an interviewer who seemed to implicitly assume they were better than me, and came off as dismissive.)

In hindsight, I wonder whether I would've 100% liked a company driven by software engineers (other than the apparent aspect of recent grads with senior-sized egos).

The same thing happened to me and left feeling the same in the early 2010s.

(Great experience however and any interview after that was a walk in the park)
