It's pretty deceptive. Sonnet only? Seems to have gone. Older models disappear all the time.

This announcement in May about higher usage limits, changes to peak times https://www.anthropic.com/news/higher-limits-spacex. Is this even the case anymore? Or has it changed again. The information needs to be baked into the UI.

I set a hard cap of 200k tokens, with Claude's instructions. The app doesn't even respect this.

Someone might say this information is out there but a definitive source is often hard to find, or tell if it's current. I grow a little more and more resentful with sudden unplanned changes like this and want the day of local LLMs so I'm in full control.

Fable 5 Is Back 21 days ago

Anthropics marketing dept were a tad overzealous with how they positioned this model, now it's biting them back.

If this was just another model without the hype doom marketing, I don't think we'd be where we are.

Yes stupid for shareholders and until the EU comes in and saves the day again this will continue.

There's something to be said for creating a near monopoly and also having the ability to digitally revoke someones right to use something they purchased legally, which we'll see more of.

Regulations are needed to protect us.

Suspicious? Maybe. Benjamin Netanyahuha repeatedly voiced concerns Israel is becoming increasingly unpopular amoung the youth because of social media.

His words: “the most important purchase going on right now (Tiktok)” alleging its control could be “consequential.” [1]

When kids have alternative news your pointless religious wars or fake democratic freedom wars cannot be fought. [2]

[1] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in September "We have to fight with the weapons that apply to the battlefields in which we’re engaged. And the most important ones are on social media. And the most important purchase that is going on right now is TikTok. Number one. Number one.". Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti‑Defamation League, warned last year: “TikTok, if you will, is the 24/7 news channel of so many of our young people, and it’s like Al‑Jazeera on steroids. It’s amplifying and intensifying the antisemitism and the anti‑Zionism with no repercussions.”

[2] "There’s an eighth front," he said, describing a struggle "for the hearts and minds of people, especially young people in the West, and for me especially in the United States.

I saw mention of Sybil's, hasn't this been patched effectively making techniques of quick discovery though many DHT nodes much more expensive and slower.

You would need a unique IP to overcome this per n nodes. That could be tens of thousands of IPs.

The camp who think VPNs and Tor are a solution to government policies feel like disinformation at times.

VPNs are trivial to ban, the IP space is well known, Wireguard is easily to fingerprint and block.

It will be a cat and mouse game, if the government looses this they'll simply make it illegal to be caught using a VPN including Tor. Which is on the table.

The only way this changes is a less crap party, but almost all including Reform are in favour of more censorship.

Excellent I look forward to it, I like Iroh objective of keeping it's footprint small enough to run on low powered devices. IPFS in my experience is very heavy.

If my understanding is right, content discovery can't happen on the existing mainline DHT which is a shame. Maybe once you have enough traction you can propose a standards change? DHT mainline today is amazing because of its network size.

Is content discovery on the official roadmap? If the original peer say peer A goes offline but B downloaded $X, can see find B and download, validate the content today?

Sorry if this has been answered or covered on the web I'm currently travelling.

Edit: I managed to read the linked page, thank you for working on such an amazing project!

DNS isn't decentralised it's more federated. I believe Iroh has the option to use DHT here, last I looked at least.

Comes after certain ethnostates have the LOWEST popularity among young populations, and I'm certain this will help change that.

The Iran war was won online and it's been widely reported the young amoung the military had extreme low levels of morale which had an impact on the battlefield.

Social media is national security threat to our governments and colonialism needs it's foot soldiers.

"Peter Mandelson’s lobbying company, Global Counsel, until its collapse, and Mandelson took the prime minister, Keir Starmer, on a trip to Palantir’s Washington DC showroom. "

Bribery.

Brilliant, no longer a Londoner but I really think Khans done amazing compared to his predecessors.

His alternatives look bleak and elitist, I would not be surprised in the slightest they reverse this.

I do wonder how studios are working around consistent human faces, it's a problem on almost every discussion forum I have read for AI videos and not something that seems to be solved yet.

Do you have any examples of those creative workflows that have made it into Hollywood for example?

Seedance 2 is amazing, compared with anything else American tech is producing. It does struggle with consistency like all other models.

The other problem is Seedance is heavily censored because of copyright concerns.

Israel has killed many in Iran during the recent war, hasbara trolls hang out on forums to tell people otherwise.

It doesn't care in the slightest for Iranians and wish utter turmoil in the country, we have seen it's treatment to Arabs clear as day in Gaza and the West Bank.

Higgsfield have multiple models available, people use Kling usually 2.5 & 3. There are a few good examples posted right now you'll notice the subtle differences.

I have tried to generate things myself and it's extremely hard to have more than 7-8 clips that are consistent, eventually you'll accept a compromise. I think it's why there isn't any long form content being done yet. Getting good results is sometimes just "chance" regardless of how many reference data you have.
