Some manufacturers like Xiaomi already have a very annoying flow for enabling developer options and using ADB. You need to have a SIM card inserted, need to create a Xiaomi account and there's several popups with timers you have to wait through.

Well it's not exactly secure by default. I was deploying an app to a new server and some bot grabbed my .env file before I finished the Apache config. Ultimately it's my own stupidity, but you don't have to worry about that with most other languages
I've just used this in Malaysia, they have a card called Touch n Go that is very widely accepted. You can load up the card using cash terminals or via a smartphone app with NFC, you can use that to check the balance as well

Apple doesn't really address gaming and it will be pretty hard to port over existing games due to the lack of controllers. Which is pretty unfortunate, since VR gaming is a much more unique value proposition than reading your emails and watching TV in VR. Same goes for Meta - who wants to sit in VR work meetings?
