Not the person you responded to, but I have Jabra Elites as well and I've been able to switch between my Windows computer and iPhone seamlessly. In fact, the reason I bought the Jabras was because this was the exact feature I was looking for and saw many recommendations for the Elite.

The closest thing I could find for the registering without verification claim was a Verge article [1] about people's Fortnite account being taken over after clicking a link that was sent to them. If you have a better source please do share.

EDIT: Source has been found, apparently store didn't initially send a verification email so anyone could use any email[4], this has been fixed though. I could find no source for the claim that this affected millions or thousands of people.

As for the claim that they were "scanning your pc for everything", that is just completely wrong. According a few articles [2][3] they were reading your steam friends list after getting permission from the user.

I see this a lot but I have yet to come across a good explanation of why this matters, could you explain? From my point of view it doesn't make a difference when the developer gets the money, an exclusive is an exclusive.

Yes going around to different stores to find the best price is annoying, but you are under no obligation to do it. You can't say shopping around is a worse experience for the end user because it is a problem entirely of their own making. If shopping around is that much of a hassle you could always just stick to the Apple App Store.

Small knit pick, but speech to text isn’t lossless. How someone says the words has a lot of impact on the meaning of those words. It’s possible Amazon doesn’t care about that lost information but that is a completely different conversation.

I agree that it doesn't necessarily always devolve into hate speech but, anecdotally, every community I've seen without heavy moderation eventually devolves into low effort meme posts, and sometimes hateful content. For example, r/gaming vs r/games. The pattern repeats itself all over reddit.

I'm an EE that went to a mid-level state school and got a hardware engineering job out of school; I got lucky that there was a hardware company in town that did a lot of hiring from my school. I had a similar experience applying to other companies before I graduated though, the company I eventually started working for was the only one to ever give me a call back and I think that was only because I was already working there as a software engineering intern ;)

Assuming there is no external IO such as USB or Ethernet, someone would have to disassemble the machine and solder a programming header in order to re-flash the device.

Being able to connect to multiple devices at once, not having a chord get in the way or getting tangled while in pocket (happened to me a lot while exercising), not being tethered to a device (not a big deal with a phone, but it can be annoying when you are using a laptop or desktop), some headphones overlay external noises over your music (anti-noise canceling?) so you can be more aware of your surroundings/people talking to you.

These are just a few I thought of off the top of my head, but they may not be worth the price tag for everyone.

Of course I can’t back this up with any proof, but it might lead to some good content. I have a hard time seeing something like the Marvel Cinematic Universe happening if it wasn’t for Disney being as big as it is. It’s possible that Disney is the only reason Star Wars is back too. If they ever get around to making their own streaming service, having all the Disney properties in one would be amazing. Of course you could argue that these don’t outweigh the downsides of Disney having so much control but I think there some good aspects too it.

You could make a drone that will follow your friends/enemies around and spray them with a super soaker. Use your imagination, the first person to figure out a good answer to your question will probably make a lot of money.
