As a Ukrainian growing up and still living in Denmark and who has spoken to other Ukrainians working at those farms, I have never heard of “slave like conditions”. I’ve heard of hard manual labour and occasional disagreements with the owners of the farms though

I tried it on a Radeon VII. It is little hard to get running as it does not work with latest kernel, but otherwise it kind of works with some quirks. One of the quirks is the first epoch of your training is very slow to start compared to Nvidia cards. Also, the speed of training is slow.
Slightly off-topic, but I found M1 to be extremely fast at Gaussian Processes (using GPytorch/Botorch). I'm doing a PhD in Machine Learning for protein research, and for the heavy Bayesian Optimisation loop, the MBP M1 is almost twice as fast as my 16 core Ryzen 3950X "deep learning" machine (both use the CPU).
Am I the only one who is not a fan of their design? I get that there might be a slight reference to the legendary Koss SP-3 from 1958, but come on - they don't have to look THAT antique.
Would you care to elaborate on the point of your suggested integration? Are you (seriously) proposing the inclusion of a javascript backend into *TeX distribution?

Sage is not something that you would want to use for ML per say. It can, however, help you with understanding of the underlaying math and algorithms. It has excellent support for symbolic math, statistics (distributions etc.) and just about everything else you are going to need to study ML. I recently switched from Mathematica and could not be happier.

This is not true.
While I would never trust Telegram with sensitive data, their desktop client is by far the best IM desktop client I have ever tried. It's feature rich, native and beats Slack, Teams and any of the web/electron based clients.
No alcohol for a year.
While getting ready for exams this november-december, I had to quit all social activities and as a side effect, I haven't had any drinks for a month or so. While it did not improve my studying or sleep significantly, it helped me realize the effect alcohol has on my body. Couple of drinks after the last exam gave me quite a hangover, something i did not experience much before. Now the interesting observation is that my hangovers got much easier to a point of almost disappearing as I got into drinking again. The realization of this semi-permanent effect combined with studies showing connection to cognitive impairment (memory, concentration etc.) got me into trying a year without alcohol.

From personal experience (IANAD), cutting carbs to below 50g/day has greatly improved my life. This "diet" naturally leads to increased fat and protein intake, and for me resulted in weight loss, better concentration and reduction of inflammation (mild psoriasis improvement).
Also, I recently got a pack of (urine) testing sticks which confirm a high level of ketones, and plan to experiment with increasing the daily carb limit.
As for Scandinavia and Denmark in particular, I can highly recommend looking in to people coming out of DTU Compute. There is also a yearly fair (DSE) where companies can meet with students looking for work/internship. I went as a student this year and had great time talking about practical ML with SKAT, the Danish Customs and Tax Administration.
