For qwen3.6-27b you can also run the q4 variant with full ~250K context on one 3090. It's fast enough to not be frustrating so the speed gains with 2x 3090s wouldn't be worth it to me. Running a q6 on 2x 3090s at half the speed with a smaller context is an option, but you're really not going to compete with SOTA models there anyway so unless you already have 2x 3090s, I would say 1 is the best investment given current prices. It's good enough to do a lot, especially with a well-configured harness.

Can't recommend this project enough. I've set this up for myself and multiple people that saw mine and wanted a de-clouded vacuum robot and they all love it. Several L10s Ultras and an X40 Ultra. Takes a bit of effort (and a dongle if you want to keep things as simple as possible) but I wouldn't have one of these things running around the house any other way. Haven't tried reaching out to the community, so can't speak to that, but I'm really grateful that people put this type of effort into projects like this. Same goes for e.g. NetGuard (Android firewall) - not sure I'd every comfortably have an Android phone without a tool like that.

I believe that Roborock is no longer actively supported so if you want one of these, get one of the Dreame models listed on the site. Dreame sells refurbished units on Ebay for a pretty steep discount (L10S for as low as ~$200 with a warranty that I believe this doesn't void if you don't brick it) and that's what all of my purchases have been. Just make sure the one you're getting is listed on the site (Pro vs non-Pro, 1 vs 2, etc.) since only very specific models are supported.

Not everything here will be for everyone and there's obviously a _lot_ more good stuff there, but here's a list of some good apps to look at:

- OsmAnd - offline version of Google Maps

- FreeOTP+ - FOSS 2FA app

- NewPipe and/or SkyTube - Youtube app alternatives. They break every so often when Google changes something, but when they work, the experience is much better than the stock YouTube app

- Simple Gallery Pro - view/manage photos

- OpenTracks - track running/biking/etc.

- MuPDF viewer - view PDFs

- FairEmail - privacy-first email client

- NetGuard - Application-level firewall (can block outgoing network requests)

- Forkyz - downloads and lets you solve daily crossword puzzles

- Gadgetbridge - app to connect/manage wearables

- Aurora Store - replacement for Google App Store

- Barinsta - Instagram client

- Fennec F-Droid - Firefox for Android

- Silence - Text message app

- VLC

BLDUP | Boston, MA | FULLTIME | ONSITE | REMOTE | https://www.bldup.com

BLDUP is an online platform providing a single source of data on projects, through the entire real estate life cycle - from land acquisition through construction completion.

We're a small, but awesome team with various backgrounds (technical and non) looking for a senior Rails engineer to help our already-fast-moving technical team increase our velocity. We have a number of big and small features that require planning, intuition, and excellent programming skills to get right. We're all experienced in our fields (including a Rails rockstar you'll be working with that's built much of our current platform) and are looking to bring on someone excited to build/augment features that will quickly become customer-facing. A few examples of upcoming backlog items:

* data aggregation and display

* machine learning

* site performance improvements

It's a really exciting place to work at a very exciting time in the company's life! Boston-local preferred (remote during the pandemic either way), but remote could work with the right person.

If this sounds interesting, reach out to me (CTO) at andrey@bldup.com! I'm specifically looking for an engineer, but if you're great at sales/marketing/content creation and our platform sounds interesting to you, reach out and I'll be happy to connect you with the appropriate person!

I've used both Unity and Godot at a hobby level and what I found was that with Unity, I spent almost all my time playing around with game mechanics. With Godot, I always spent a considerable amount of time importing resources and fiddling with them before being able to do anything useful other than add basic shapes to the screen. I think it's probably a problem of being the underdog with a much smaller asset market, but that's literally the one thing that made Unity worth checking out for me. I've downloaded most releases of Godot to play around with them as they come out though, so I'm really excited about it growing further.

One thing that I think would hugely shift godot's market share is a standardized asset format, similar to what Unity and Unreal have, so asset developers could offer assets in Godot-compatible format. It would be even more amazing if there was an easy way to import Unity resources. Maybe I just needed to do more research, but last time I tried, I had to pull out individual files, mess around with them in Blender, then import the model and the mesh into Godot separately, where I needed to arrange them together afterward. I think if the asset management was as simple as Unity's, Godot would be a no-brainer in many projects, especially smaller ones.

Thanks for the response, but I don't think this is the same functionality. Keywords are really useful for services that get searched sparingly. I shouldn't need to use a keyword for my default search.

What I'm looking to do is just be able to type text into the address/search bar and have it show up on a search engine with my custom parameters. I know I can add a keyword, but that's an extra prefix I need to type every time to work around something that shouldn't be an issue in the first place.
