No doubt, but we're 10 years on, if we'd carried on down the path of swappable storage we'd probably also have solved these minor ux things - no USB flaps on modern waterproof phones f.ex
Dunno that it's awkwardness so much as the discomfort of watching someone with pretty messed up teeth forcing too-large ID brushes in between them
meanwhile also in Europe, we fund public education systems that do not do for everyone what Sal Khan does for everyone
taking kids to school is actually the reason we just caved and bought a cargo bike, which we're gonna add e-assist to.
For a great many people in urban centres, the school run is the most egregiously frustrating car journey and the one most attractive to eliminate
My partner experienced the burps thing, but not so much me - I get a little bloating and weird poops.
I definitely agree it makes you regret over eating, but I also find it makes you not want to eat. Just enough of an edge to make weight loss a breeze
nah, this isn't correct. The NHS very very rarely prescribes TRT, certainly not as a matter of course.
Testosterone supplementation is very unlikely to be causative for what you're running into. Test is incredibly mild in psychological effect (unless you're deficient). This kind of stereotype comes from trenbolone, but I think you shouldn't under-estimate the intersection of steroid users and cocaine users. It's bigger than you might intuitively guess.
She is teaching your daughter that treating you (or other men) this way is acceptable. I think it's worth the intervention for that reason.
All else being equal it's still potentially meaningful stimulus. There's no way it doesn't translate if you're training wrapped in a way that would stimulates hypertrophy or strength increase - it's an offset upwards, sure, but the muscles will still respond to the work.
TFA's point was that indeed - no individual is paying it. The cost of insurance strongly encourages working for hospitals who will cover that cost, rather than striking out and running the kind of small, one man band practice that the author is nostalgic for.
This logically reads right but I doubt is actually true for most readers
Steelmanning is probably more helpful than ever on such a provocative topic
Thank you
well assessed, 200/2500 are my cutting targets
Apart from selfishly loving the taste of meat, convenience of nutrition for sport (ie getting 200g protein on 2500 cals or less) is really the only justification I have for meat consumption.
Any suggested reading for someone like me?
Not quite what you asked for, but this is a nice resource for at a glance assessment of supplements:

Iris user here. Hate being without it now, it's extremely comfortable. The stagger makes so much sense but it took weeks to get back up to speed.
I use a tall book between the halves for additional tenting height, and have my setup such that my elbows are elevated to compensate for how high off the desk my wrists need to be - not a fan of wrist-rests.
Interested in a dactyl next, for sure.
Ruby and Angular Developers | MWR InfoSecurity | Full Time | London, Basingstoke, Manchester, Joburg, remote considered
Hey! We're a research driven InfoSec company, and we're hiring for Rubyists and Angular wizards. My team works on a vuln scanning managed service platform, and we work pretty closely with our security consultancy team on interesting things!
We're mostly Ruby, but we're slowly working on transitioning all our front ends to Angular, so could definitely use some sweet Angular chops to shore up in that area.
You'd be part of a small in house Ruby team. Our stakeholders are internal, so relatively low stress environment. Lots of flexibility, great atmosphere.

I personally feel the risk in this instance is too high, but as a rule, yes.
I've observed ZWSes appearing in user input for an application I maintain. It appears in text pasted from either Outlook or OWA, I believe. In our case, it is necessary that the application handle them gracefully - indeed, the user has no reason to know anything is amiss.
Indeed, and I think the same is true of vaping. If you're blowing obnoxious clouds indoors, sure, you should be asked to stop and, on refusing, ejected. This, as with the fragrance example, does not require regulation.
This isn't really true - elements are cleaned at red-hot temperatures, sure, but they never reach anything like that temperature when saturated with liquid.
Which is probably why solutions like Open Table exist and succeed. For me at least, avoiding this kind of inexact interaction is desirable. Simple forms on web pages can provide a smoother UX than talking to huamns for the this type of interaction. If these can provide that one shot process, then inevitably that is the expectation set of any replacement UI.
I've not read Diaspora (yet!), but this sounds more like Permutation City
As another option, Vimperator also allows vim like editing in textareas with Ctrl+t and supports Firefox >30
