Don't have a 6 month runway. Have a lifetime runway. Just keep making and launching things till something has significant traction.

You can only do this with an income. Or it will all come crashing down in six months.

Realistically, your current project will fail. Plan instead t launch 10 things in the next five years.

Put that money in the bank.

"out of the trap we now find ourselves in."

The anti Microsoft panic about GitHub feels childish and pedantic.

Perhaps if there was some evidence post acquisition of Microsoft trying to do unpalatable things then there might be room to complain.

But just to knee jerk advocate leaving GitHub because you are a Microsoft hater lacks credibility and comes across as whining and silly.

The Trump policies are those of the democratically elected leader, which means it's the will of almost the majority of Americans that there should be such travel restrictions.

Seems a strange and disturbing choice that the US public has made but their willl should be respected.

Democracy provides for people to vote out the leadership if they don't agree, although the Google seems to suggest trump is currently looking good for reelection.

I can think of no group more worthy of sneering and derision than politicians.

Let us be clear: politicians are ignorant fools who have the power to legislate upon matters they have no understanding of, and are happy to make politically expedient policy decisions that are not wise.

These fools have done little to nothing to earn more than a sneer.

Respect is earned, and cannot be demanded, unless of course one is a politician.

Where do you plan to access it from? Do you mean server or cloud software? Have you searched google - there are large numbers of such applications.

Question has too little context, what is your interest, to build applications with it, or build it? On what platform?
