Sir, please make it easy to break the twitter/x moat. Why don't we have an app that just posts to all the socials like bluesky/mastodon/threads etc

I can go on Gemini, claude, mistral, (and even chatgpt) for free (even through a VPN), so they are definitely not profitable for me as they are not getting anything from me. are you saying subscriptions are subsidizing me?

Agreed, I'd make the same argument as parent for a Harley. It's not my cup of tea, loud, impractical, and a gas guzzler, but it clearly appeals to a bunch of people. Give things a chance for goodness sake. Aptera never claimed you don't need to charge.

I got into this profession simply because I could Ctrl-Z to the previous step much more easily than my then favourite chemical engineering goals.

That is interesting. Asking as a complete ignoramus - is there not a way to do this now? Like start off with a 100 of reagent and at every step use a bit and discard if wrong

Really harsh calling it a useless degree (even though I don’t disagree) but expectations should be in order. Hell, even Harvard MBA is 200k+ in the hole, so without a plan afterwards it may not be the best choice.

If he wanted to work in academia I think it’s a very reasonable choice.

Visiting a friend in nashville and just learned of a weird loophole called a horizontal property regime. She technically only owns the land under her home but the backyard and driveway is shared with her neighbor under a “HOA” with 50% ownership exactly and zero fees.

Apparently they are all over town since the 2010s instead of waiting to split a large lot into two.

As a close follower of Casey, I have become disillusioned with the lack of progress in this space. Certainly solar is cheaper but his own company is very slow to scale up and ignores the logistical challenges of these huge endeavors. The salton sea lithium project should be a slam dunk but is very slow because building big things takes time.

Also, not everything he says is gospel
