what a patronizing response

Brilliant advice. I don’t like it because it involves doing things I don’t like. But all the most effective advice is like that.
This post happens every year so yeah it’s just you
you should ask chatgpt to summarize your posts
don’t start a sentence with um. its arrogant. and you are wrong. just go and look up what proportion of the population pays the most tax by income band. the rates are irrelevant
do some research and see who is paying what when it comes to taxes. this fair share bullshit is just communist propaganda
Quite a lot I would say. A CEO is making daily decisions, any one of which could be be the start of a company’s death spiral that results in tens of thousands of job losses. The amount of leverage they have over a company dwarfs that of any other individual worker. Besides what should I care what they earn if they pay me well for what I do, relative to the market? This is lazy, greedy socialist thinking where they want money for nothing’s

no real evidence that the problem is increasing or that it will get bad enough to have any effect on air travel
seems like a great npr story, i do hope they raise my carbon tax
The YouTube app is a lousy user experience. The ads are the most intrusive and irrelevant of any service since commercial TV. For those reasons alone I would never become a paying customer. What’s worse is they have established themselves as yet another guardian of ideas. Content creators have to be careful not to talk about topics that are deemed out of line by the current msm and liberal zeitgeist. They could have been a great venue for debate during covid for example, but they censored and deplatformed world renowned scientists and doctors who dared question the cdc and wh. YouTube has the best content and I suffer through their UX to consume it but would leave as soon as there is an alternative
I read articles quite regularly. They are almost always heavily partisan, spuriously sourced and have been on the wrong side of major stories for years
It could be seen as defamation. If the block list is titled “nazis” or “antisemetics”, two of the worst labels you can be assigned in modern western society, then you can be publicly described that way with no context or recourse.
That’s pretty hilarious. Although without looking it up I would bet the first use of writing would have been ownership documents and transactions
If you told me the Guardian was mostly AI generated after being trained on progressive writings and WH press releases I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest
Boring
Nigeria and Ethiopia are both brimming with tech workers that are happy to relocate for money and better prospects. Whether a post-war Russia can offer either remains to be seen.
lol it may well have changed the outcome of the election and it was a real story by any objective measure. if trumps children had photographic and documented evidence of federal crimes and picking up money from corrupt regimes around the world, we all know the coverage would have been different.
Here’s an example of fake news with a touch of racism https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/juliareinstein/popeyes-... The family followed up and said this was nothing to do with a fried chicken sandwich. They did not correct the story (apart from to correct the location of the store which was also wrong).
They mean main stream media voice of the elite reporting at its finest
Journalism awards are total bullshit. Look at the Pulitzers given out for the investigations into Trump and Russia and made up Critical Race Theory. This polk award for exposing right wing misinformation does not mention the suppression of the Hunter Biden story which the faithful mainstream media, including Buzzfeed news, decided to censor.
Hey everyone time to show your political affiliation. Are you red pilled/republican or right of centre, maybe you get your news from Fox. let’s praise Elon for an amazing test flight. If you’re progressive, left wing, get your news from msnbc, lets join together in mocking a gigantic failure as Elons rocket explodes in the morning sky. There is no need to investigate the facts, pick a side and let rip.
Exactly
No or no company would be able to use it. As you type fragments of code are sent and discarded after use. You need to trust Microsoft to actually do the discarding but contractually they do and you can sue them if they accidentally or deliberately keep your code around or otherwise mismanage it.
People have different preferences and habits. Having tried both models I much prefer having a conversation in one window and constructing my code from that in another. Although copilot is about to add some interesting features that may win me back.
Edge and Bing is quite compelling apart from that
I would be happy if I could turn off the tab rape you get every time you click a link in Edge. You have to manually close the search tab or you end up with dozens of tabs.
That is a massive simplification of what has russled peoples jimmies. The proposal goes a bit too far with what is reasonably required
Don’t worry, the cartoon crab isn’t going to stab any of his cartoon friends and start real world violence
America had very little in the way of military industry at the start of WW2 yet ramped up at an incredible rate. Industrial efforts can be repurposed in a matter of months. (One problem here is that the US depends on other countries for much of its manufacturing)
always weird to read someones made up opinion of an online space. the documentary about pepe was the same
yes
