searched for "house music", found house music! :D
I don't think that's how a party works. At least my XP is that a majority of people are not invested that deep to curate the list in a democratic way because they're preoccupied with dancing if you do your job right :)
a beloved tool from Potsdam, Germany. Best in market for planning routes. I always had my grievances with their lack of premium features that where catered towards ambitious cyclists that use their phone instead of a GPS though. They could have had all my money of they would have had a customizable UI (or at least a bunch of skins to choose from). So much data collected and no useful HUD. Just copying what Garmin etc have (e.g. audio indicators for next turns) would have made a big difference...

thanks for that piece of trope :)
the OP has the explanation (skilled labor shortage) just after the word....
This could easily hold a library of voices that you interact with (e.g at a bigger table of friends and family) and let you toggle in and out voices that are relevant. Apple please include this feature for your Airpods, thanks! :)
privately discussed but not properly addressed by the industry.
bing.com doesnt rank them either.
I think you are either an extreme outlier (not having a unpleasant trip while having taken over hundred) or delusional about your drug consumption. Your recommendation of consuming a mind-altering substance DAILY for stress relief " and other positive effects" lets me lean towards the latter. While each person is indeed different, their brains tend to work in a comparable way.
it doesnt seem like `the market` will fix this abhorrent use of plastic for packaging and other fast moving consumer goods. This is where states have to interfere and ban plastic usage. How can it be allowed to package 80g of food (like ham, cheese etc.) that has a shelf-life of max. 14 days in 10g+ of plastic that will be around for hundreds of years? If you go to any super market there is no consumer choice but to buy most of your food wrapped in plastic, amounting to kilos of plastic per family and month :(
Detail absent from the article for context:
The new proposed EPA guideline is 4.0[1] parts per trillion (also expressed as ng/L) for PFOA and PFOS.

The vast majority of people I know (38m,Germany) don't regularly consume broadcast TV. Even my parents and their peers don't (but to a lesser extent).

this member of the anarchist enclave berlin is paying 750EUR per month (plus the 750EUR my employer does) for these treatments. solidarity ftw!
At least Germany is not importing US pellets as stated in the thread.[1] Indeed, Germany is producing more wood pellets than it consumes [2]
Wood burning (pellet burning to a lesser degree) can be detrimental due to the small particles, not an issue on the countryside, but in big cities. Germany requires pellet heaters to have particle filters by 2025 (incl. old systems)

I work 4 days at Microsoft in Germany (PM at Github) In Germany employees have the right to demand part time. for new hires it's usually 40h and then reduce after the probation period. might reduce your career growth but I still got promoted and am happy with Fridays off
flying into Haneda from Honolulu End of April with my family on a round the world trip. We doubt that we will be let into the country (all fully vaxxed but our 2yr old..) Just stay in transit and fly on to Singapore. fingers crossed the Omicron wave is over by then and they let us in.
I don't believe that 3 letter agencies will care about the physical location of the user data. So storing the data in europe might not solve this issue.
Landlords being allowed to increase rent on existing tenants at will makes these shifts so fast. In Germany, you cant do that and therefor people with existing leases are not being displaced that easily.
"global supply capacity of these cables is estimated at 4000 KM/p.a" https://youtu.be/iJunxkln578?t=423 seems like a bottleneck.
sorry for folks working under this at-will employment where managers can just fire someone. In Germany, it involves consultations with HR, workers council etc. before you can fire someone. Most tech companies use packages to get rid of people.

It's one of the reasons that allows a company to collect/process personal information without a) consent b) contractual obligation c) legal requirements
It's a bit loopholey, but has high hurdles since the processor needs to argue that their legitimate interest is bigger than the right for data privacy of the user. The processor has to create a DPIA (data privacy impact assessment) to show that they indeed balanced these both sides. The document can only be requested from the data protection authorities and are not public though.
in my schooling (eastern Germany 90s/00s) I haven't witnessed any bullying. I only. know it from EVERY high school movie/ TV show I have seen. how much is the media portraying U.S. reality and how much is media influencing lived culture?
I hope so as well. In the beginning of the pandemic I donated to GG, blank and a bunch of collectives organizing parties (like bordel des arts). But i doubt that this made a lot of difference.
What bugs me most is the use of long-living plastics in fast moving consumer goods. I have to buy 12g of plastics to get 80g of Prosciutto. From packaging to EOL its lifespan is max. 60 days, most of the time more like 20 days I suspect. Why does it need to be in a container that degrades in 300+ years?
that's called part-time and where I live (Germany) it's your right as an employee to do it. I currently work 34h/week at Microsoft, fridays off. Instead of 40h/week 5day week. I threw in 2 extra hours per week because you end up checking your mails, going on a late night call w/ PST colleagues regularly anyways. Worst thing is to tell yourself you work 30h/week and get payed for it and then end up working 35-38 hours.
There was no data on the Russian Sputnik vaccine before, but it get inject folks anyways. They got rightly criticised for this reckless and unscientific behaviour.
