I use a split keyboard for my work laptop when I'm at work. To tell the truth, it corrects my typing by forcing my fingers to the correct hands. I hate it! For years I've typed using whatever fingers could reach the desired keys and did not think about which hand I should use. Now it shows me down and I have to relearn my high school trying teacher's typewriter lessons.

In short, no physical pain, but not a fan. It's too slow.

I think Coherent, of Mark Williams, is a bit older. According to Wikipedia it was first released in 1980, but probably was for the PDP-11, at that point. I used it on an 80286 for years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coherent_%28operating_system%2...

Control-f for find is a classic. I do like using slash (/) for finding as well. If you're recognizing the keys yourself, do away with control and just have at it with f or slash for find, t and b for top and bottom and left and right arrow keys for next and previous pages, if such are applicable.

Shadow Weather is okay. It's still not as good as Dark Sky.

Yeah, it's a junction point, but it's also useless. Open a command box and CD to it; now what? A file explorer and set it as the directory, again, now what?

I would prefer to have the extra hour of light in the evening. I usually go for my daily walk after work.

And water. They need lots and lots of water. And everything has to be ultra clean and to start that way in creation, shipping and in use.

I do miss my Treo. I preferred it to my Blackberry. Both were better and less distracting than my current ad-presenting spy box.

What about something like Robot Framework? It is used as a test language and is in widespread use to test websites as well as embedded systems. The underlying language is Python, a scripting language which might also be a DSL under some definitions.
