i tried turning off scripts a while back
i could refresh any page and it would near-instantly return me to the same scroll position without jumping around as scripts load
i didn't have to feel so cautious about sites abusing my browser to show me popups, subscription forms or ads
it felt really empowering for some reason
or Cloudflare
https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/#cloudflare-ssl-options
cloudflare's "flexible ssl" option encrypts the connection between their datacenter and the user, but not the one between the datacenter and the actual web server
i guess it's better than nothing if your host doesn't support ssl but the false sense of security could be harmful
i think the generator-to-async-function hack is kind of ugly and not a good example of "real-life javascript generators" at all
what are they going to do when they run out of letters in the alphabet?
endangering his health probably
the page seems to only work over http
i had to disable the site's HTTPS Everywhere rule
