subvert an election by any means possible is not yet one of those warts

The Democrats are famous for trying to have 3rd party candidates stripped from ballots. Straining smaller campaigns under the cost of fighting off endless lawsuits.

Democrats invented the term lawfare.

Even in the USA courts have some limited investigation powers over matters under the jurisdiction of the court, for example when a draft of the Dobbs abortion ruling was leaked.

Brazil has dialed this up to 11 by declaring the Internet as being under their jurisdiction. That means they can act as judge, prosecutor, and jury and issue court orders regarding anything that happens on the Internet. There is zero recourse because they are the supreme court.

Durov was forced to divest and flee Russia because he refused to censor and share private info on his users with the Russian government.

Now he has been arrested in France for refusing to censor and share private info on his users with Western governments.

Moderna’s results indicating 94% efficacy

Yet strangely every person I know vaccinated or not still got COVID. YouTube banned people for even simple observation like this.

I toured their factory one time and saw some demo print structures. The walls were double layered, spaced out 8-12? Inches. The bead would flip from inner to outer to give lateral support. Inside the walls were insulation. Plumping in Texas is embedded in the foundation but I believe electrical wiring was in the walls as well.

The printing gantry only could move in one axis so building width is limited.

There are paywall bypass browsers extensions. I don't even notice when a site has a paywall.

Tucker Carlson interviewed the founder of Telegram, interesting interview. Telegram is based out of UAE to avoid jurisdiction of Russian and Western intelligence agencies.

Tucker Carlson also revealed that he's had the contents of his private signal messages leaked to media (allegedly by US Intel agencies monitoring his communication).

Lack of affordable housing is the number one cause of homelessness

Homelessness isn't a monolith. Treating someone who gets evicted after job loss the same as mentally ill drug addicts is making the problem worse. Homeless assistant programs are successful at helping people who accept the help.

The drug addicts you see on the streets are engaging in destructive antisocial behavior. Sadly the only effective remedy for this behavior is to be roughed up by police and thrown in jail.

DDG never pretended to be unbiased. They have all the same policy decisions around artificial boosting/throttling as google without the tracking.

In their golden era search engines were essentially super sophisticated keyword matching. Users used to find novel websites from passionate people. Now it's becoming more of a social media feed of the same 100 website where you train it what you like.

This is exactly why search is so vulnerable to disruption from LLMs.

Glenn Greewald is the journalist who is best known for founding The Intercept and broke the Edward Snowden story. He is also anti war and spends his time these days criticizing the US policy that created the situation in Ukraine.

That makes him an agent of Russia using the same logic that decades ago said opposition to invading Iraq made you a terrorist sympathizer.
