Would you mind elaborating a bit on the "took every advantage I could to compensate for the damage caused by stress."

In a similar position and would be good to learn what worked for you.

Would be nice to allow going back a step / modifying previously entered fields. Also keyboard navigation to progress is funky (entering a url, pressing tab and then space, closes the first tab in my Chrome browser).

Co-founder here. Good catch, will update! :)

The details are required for compliance (Anti Money Laundering, etc) purposes. We're looking at asking for a lot of this data later on in the process and not front load it so much. For example have a demo env and when ready, complete form and book for real.

Great suggestion on the rate visibility pre-sign up. It's something a few people have mentioned, we'll be working on that this week.

CurrencyTransfer.com, London, UK. Full time preferable. Remote possible.

We are are making international payments easier for businesses. Think FXall but for SME's.

To give you a flavour of our progress:

- Officially launched product with LIVE CNBC Squawk Box interview: http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000244923

- Voted "Most Liked Startup" at Google Campus demo night: http://www.currencytransfer.com/currencytransfer-com-voted-l...

- Presented on stage to 1,000 people at Finovate Europe: http://finovate.com/2014/02/currencytransfer-launches-its-fx...

- Selected to 'represent the UK' next week at SXSW in Austin Texas by the UKTI government trade mission.

* Senior Ruby on Rails Developers - we are working with an outsourced developer team at the moment, and would like to bring this in house.

* Front-end/UI dev (HAML, SASS, JS, Angular.js, etc.)

We're looking for smart people to help build out and grow our back-end and integrations with partners. We're a team of 7 currently, though growing quickly in the next couple of weeks, so looking for the right people to help set the right DNA in the company.

Feel free to give me a call any time to discuss on 07711880001, or email at stevan@currencytransfer.com.

One minor point I'd raise with the .co is a while ago I read (on HN I think) that one a particular startup had a lot of feedback from users saying "you're missing an 'm' in your logo/url". It might confuse some people that aren't familiar with how ccTLD/gTLD's work.

If you've come across this before, forgive the pestering, I just thought it was fair to point out before you've launched.

SEEKING FREELANCER (London, UK. - Remote or In-house):

We are currencytransfer.com, and we're all about saving people money when sending it overseas. Banks are our enemy, and we want to make the market more transparent, which while difficult is proving fruitful.

We're a tiny team at the moment, based in TechHub at the Google Campus building. We're seeking a Ruby on Rails developer with good and preferably demonstrable experience. Good, clean HAML/SASS (html/css is fine too) design is a big plus. We love new things, so we're happy to let you play with new toys to get the job done.

On the topic of the responsive design module - when I view my project on an iPhone/iPad it shows the full screen version of the site, rather than the mobile version. However, it shows the mobile version on a samsung phone.

Is there a reason for this?

Certainly seems that the only people that get treated well by Amazon are its customers. Employees seem to be treated fairly badly and partners apparently too.

This could be an interesting PR tactic too, as it must make it tough to convince happy Amazon customers to join in any sort of movement against Amazon, because they don't feel the same way as the employees/partners.

I've been trying to get a hold of this book for a while in the UK, but it seems very tough to get a copy of without paying through the teeth for international shipping. Anyone have any tips?

I run a small startup in the UK (www.mycurrencytransfer.com) that helps people compare currency transfers from different providers.

We've found specialist currency brokers such as Moneycorp, The FX Firm, IFX, and World First, amongst others, offer more competitive rates than the banks.

They are what businesses tend to use when paying overseas suppliers, and people purchasing properties overseas.

(Sorry for the "shameful plug", I just thought I'd chime in seeing as it seemed appropriate)
