Absolutely correct, you can be well dressed without a suit.

A nearly identical business model, but we have some unique technology and more direct customer contact. For example, when you place an order we have a system which modulates your measurements with data from other customers to identify potential measurement errors. When those are flagged we will contact you directly to sort it out and ensure the suit has the best chance of a great fit. Measuring yourself is error prone, so we have a lot of mechanisms to identify and rectify those issues.

All of the antitrust stuff of the last decade has really tamed Microsoft. I'm not sure they'd do that. I really wanted to like Windows Phone 7, but have lost faith and think WebOS may have an opportunity to overtake them if HP plays their cards right.

That skill set is in high demand. Rather than be blocked I suggest you outsource. Find a freelancer...give him or her a test drive. Maybe they'll be your next employee.

They're cheap, I admit that. But they are challenged interfacing with US clients. We've found that by giving business away (matching their rates) and delivering a few small jobs, US customers will keep coming back.

That said, there are a few good ones out there so we should keep on our toes.

The patent system needs an enema. Most of these are so broad it's like patenting water. Apple recently patented the 'slide to unlock' UI concept. If I'm not mistaken, the aliens in the Preditor movies had already established that as prior art and should probably go pay Apple's attorney's a visit.
