in the squeejee factsheet pdf one of the projects listed is WildFire Viral Business Marketing Application www.sparkwildfire.com

except the url that gets copied into the clipboard on winxp foxit pdf readed is www.sparkwildire.com

I have no idea why.

my father told a similar story. his friend, a camera man, wanted to assemble a film camera from scratch. This is Soviet union in the 1960s. cameras were pretty impossible to "own". Studios owned by the State owned cameras. But he had access to the cameras at the studio. He was not a machinist, but could take them apart and service them. If he went to a machinist to copy the camera privately it would cost him a lot of money. possibly a year's salary. So he would take a part at a time. he went to different ones and told them that it is apart that broke on his movie studio camera and that getting a part from the factory would stall the production. So they did it sometimes free of charge and sometimes he paid them with money, they would charge him about a worth of a quarter for a small part.

The documentary divided into twelve parts tells the story of how debt combined with political corruption impoverished a nation that was once so rich that the expression "Wealthy as an Argentine" was once in common use throughout the world.

When the USA took on trillions in debt starting in the early 1980s, did we enter a Dante's hell as Argentina did when it took on its debt under a military dictatorship in the 1970s? Is it only a matter of time before US debts lead inexorably to currency crisis, inflation, and political chaos? The story will strike North Americans as uncomfortably familiar.

never mind. i see now that you have to drag the object from the panel on the the canvas and then resizing it. as opposed to selecting it and then dragging the selector rectangle on the canvas..

People would take you more seriously if you responded to their emails. Even with a decline

that was me trying to be a smart ass. missed an order of magnitude

the market is about 15000 people

regarding a wannabe / junior version comment I am inclined to think that the tool requires 100% functionality to be useful.

You could work with/for me.

Seriously.

I am one of those "non coding" founders. I come from the entertainment biz and know first hand that there is a need for web app suite that would help about 1.5 E+3 people each to do what I did for the last 5 years.

The tools that exist for what I want to have developed either are no tools at all, something like a business process checklist, or do 30% of what is needed or required for the final outcome and does it poorly because the company that provides the tools does not want to give too much control to the user over the process.

I have personal seed money (not a ton, about 10k usd) to develop a demo with someone, and would rather have someone interested in startups than a dbase programmer off Craigslist.

I did some interface diagrams/sketches and wrote quite a bit on needed features. The 1.5 e+3 entertainment professionals (like me) in question work together twice a year to do about 3 e+9 euros worth of business each time.

If done properly the web app would be self enlarging/viral within this community.

I was 4-5. I was drawing these grand fountains and water works systems and my grandfather looked at one and saw that water was flowing uphill and explained in basic terms gravity and the Archimedes principle to me.

After that I always wanted to be correct in my drawings so I got interested in children science books. My mom read me kids science stories/tales. I preferred them to fairy tales.

I was 9. I remember imagining how it would be cool if instead of cells my body consisted of tiny robots that intermeshed together and substituted for various bodily functions. Sorta like nano bots I came to learn about 15 years after

I was 10. it was 1988. Soviet Union. I kept drawing a small submarine with all the life support, buoyancy and structural elements I could think of. I wanted to swim from Chukotka/Kamchatka to Alaska

I just installed it in a separate directory, looked around and decided that I wanted to upgrade to it. uninstalled it, so I could install it on top of my regular install.

it asked if I want to remove all my bookmarks and such during uninstall. I assumed it would delete the new profile only. Apparently it does not.

I surely would love if YC did this. I have a design for a database/social net/marketing product for a niche of 100,000 executives just like myself. I will be late for this round of application submissions. I do not need the money, but would love to have the mentoring and interaction with other founders as I am not a software developer. I know exactly 2 programmers that worked in good startups and while they gave good advice they have their own life. One of them wants nothing better than to walk around in South East Asia and the other has his own product he spends 110% of his time on. While friend suggestions are helpful I would be delighted to get get some pointers. One of which I need most is how to find a developer co-founder
