If you can, consider to volunteer at a shelter or any volunteer activity that you find accessible to you.

I say this specifically because giving to others is undervalued for its internal benefits, and animals tend to be more accessible to direct love towards than humans with their complexities. But overall just giving is a way of transferring some of yourself into a more together context, and volunteering tends to be socially easier than like hanging at a bar or something...idk, just another autistic person who has/does struggle with depression in many contexts.

Volunteer at a cat shelter for e.g was only a tiny part of my burn out recovery process but it was still a really important catalyst and component. Maybe you can have some similar experiences too! Or maybe your own experiences are very different and it's not valuable for you, I'm sorry.

If you want I can ramble more about structural reasons for why this is a very good idea for autism+depression, but the point is really 'one extremely small and accessible suggestion' and so I don't want to overcomplicate it more.

Anyway if animals can't work for you, any other volunteering and/or metta/ loving-kindness meditation would be my second recommendations.

But it's really important for the volunteering bits that you are not maximizing efficiency. It is certainly 10X more impact if I was to work$ and donate that to the cat shelter. But in terms of the thematic healing goal, it is more important I spend time scooping poop for the cat gods at the shelter almost precisely because it's not a utility-value driven experience. Giving unto others, etc.

For what it's worth, nomadism and agricultural systems are not necessarily more complex - that is, the complexity of a nomadic lifestyle can be quite high. Randomization, varied food sources, hybrid lifestyles, etc.

The hierarchy is certainly higher in agriculture societies it seems, but the complexity is up for some debate

This may not be true...

Some birds have incredible metabolic rates --> take for example a humming bird.

However if I were to assume a canary has twice the human metabolic rate, it isn't a very good sensor. So, the canary dies half as soon? But the canary isn't even about poisonous gas. I believe it's about explosive methane gas, as their gas lanterns would need to be extinguished if the canary died, or else the gas leak that killed the canary could explode.

So, yeah, anyway. I think your information on this example is wrong, please feel free to correct me

It would be somewhat ironic in this context to be policing the use of normal.

I also would acknowledge the intent of offering neurotypical as an alternative might be kind.

However I also agree "normal" works quite well. It is especially distinguished by the quotes as "normal" and subjective, not normatively valued.

I mean, maybe what do you think about 4 weeks later? If I'm being put under I think more than 4 days is reasonable to expect my mind to recover. If I have a terrible flu I could be in a fog for as few.

However this is not to diminish your report specifically, just that in terms of what I care about long-term it is the >2 weeks effects

You need a silicone caulking tool, and a video. I have spent many years caulking like a fool listening to other fools who spray water and use their thumbs. Don't. Use the tool. Use the kind with a little oval tip usually (I mean, there are exceptions with harder caulks but for softer e.g bathroom caulks this is more superior.)

There's one UK guy on YouTube that convinced me of the evils of water/iso sprays and the beauty of the proper silicone caulking tool.

The little wedge shaped caulking tools btw are not enough, as you need some stick to it so you can get around certain angles/items.

30 years ago you weren't recorded and if you were your recording didn't share across social media networks. This and awareness of it I suspect drives a greater fear of embarrassment. Although you did mention this, I wanted to emphasize it

The backing of the loan is in part based on the value of the asset, so you need to add collateral to accommodate a reduction in the asset value.

Basically you have to pay a lot more if the building value goes down

Your roofs are (often) concrete flat roofs with structural floor

The American roofs mentioned are typically significantly inclined, made of a less rigid material (wood, asphalt shingles), and not built to the expectations of supporting as much.

When OP says 'the worst place' they mean it is not a structural place, it is hard to access, and it serves an important function that is best not to mess with.

Note, I do not fully agree with OP but I get the points made.

I think you're missing their point, even if I can agree with part of your premise.

There was an outdated but relevant saying

'In America, you can criticize president Nixon anytime'

'Yes, but in Soviet Union you can also criticize Nixon anytime.'

The point is not that they're safer but that they're not a relevant concern in the same way. (According to OP)

Certainly an OK book to read.

The trouble with this book for me was that it often recommends deferring to the other persons sense of self over your own.

There are times this is right, and there are times where it is very shallow. In fact, it can even be very inauthentic & fail to develop your own internal tools.

I think if it helps you start something, great! But for me personally at the youthful age I read the book - it was negative. Today I'm sure I could read it and only take the positive. Mostly it depends on whether you think you "must" behave in those ways, or if you "could, sometimes, by choice"

Member of household = significantly bigger. I believe your numbers suggest a household size of 1 person. I also would suggest that most likely old people live with their families, and skew towards "which member" of the household went to the doctor.

Well, with such a low mean age it could also be very young people skewing the number, im fully speculating.

It's not based on writing they didn't read...

The feedback is to the author of the post complaining (understandably) about their manager using AI and destroying the carefully written document.

That post alone is plenty to give feedback on absolutism and the nuances of existing in the world with mostly neurotypical people. [My interpretation of the feedback]

We dont care about the manager, they don't matter. This is not "defending" or "justifying" the manager, in case you see it that way.

I got halfway through. I'm tired of AI writing sometimes here. <<That's what most calculators get wrong>>. Not, that's $11, it's NOT very significant.

AI slop ATM seems to indicate heavy importance on all your sentences, but not all of your sentences are that important. It makes it harder for me to skim personally, and ultimately, it's harder to edit because it "sounds" ok as it is (even when it's not.)

But, in my experience, the AI writing slop [negative experience] is everywhere here.

I honestly think you're wildly missing the point.

Writing is not about writing. Admittedly, that is a trick sentence [what does it mean??] and it exists because I'm trying to get you to re-evaluate my next words. And, I am doing this because I think you are missing the point.

Writing is about organizing your thoughts. You cannot have someone else organize your thoughts. Once you approach writing as a thought excercise, and not an output excercise, then there is a world of nuance and writing is more than just organizing your thoughts.

Further, you have allegedly spent 3 years on this. I know you're busy. That said, you can certainly spend 3 days on writing if you spent 3 years working on this.

Please don't double down on acting like everyone is just a hater. There is more depth to the criticism than I think is being acknowledged.

P.s, if you feel "blocked" writing and think of it as just about output, try this: (0) Ask yourself what you want to convey, why; to whom. (1) Write without inhibition (2) Edit, cut, delete. Refer to (0); look at what seems higher word count in proportion to its value.

There are other tips to editing and writing. This is one rough off the cuff formula that I think tracks & may benefit you, especially since you seem to see yourself as a worse writer than you may actually be.

It has nothing to do with missing "coauthored by Claude"

The problem is you're wasting other people's time, with long and low quality writing.

One of the points of writing your own words is to gather your own thoughts. The value of writing skills is to organize the delivery. But the first point is that they are your thoughts.

I think your replies are seriously missing the criticism.
