There's a theory* that says things like autism, creative genius and homosexuality are caused by suppression of innate characteristics of our species. If so, then it makes sense why there isn't a "gay gene", since there aren't also specific genes for more than 90% of autistics.

Google doesn't need Mozilla to increase their search marketshare. People who care about privacy switch to things such as DuckDuckGo. When Firefox had Yahoo as the default search engine, many users switched back to Google.

Google wants browsers to be like OSes, because they can't directly compete with desktop OSes. This concept is incompatible with security and privacy, so Google's interests are more harmful (they fund Mozilla).
Granular permissions don't solve the privacy issue, because denying them contributes to fingerprinting. Also, JIT compilers violate W^X.
Google care very much about the complete and utter ubiquity of their search.

Or perhaps the far-right just has the habit to coopt members of others groups. Not only free market supporters, e.g. Sara Winter and Carla Zambelli were from the feminist group FEMEN, and nowadays are Bolsonaro supporters.
