What is BOSS Linux's contribution to upstream (Debian) ? AFAIK, it's zero.
Some gripes about BOSS:
(1) On the BOSS Download page, the download button downloads i386. Why isn't the 64-bit ISO listed there ?
(2) Why are there no torrents for ISOs ? Don't they know how bad Internet connection in India is ?
As far localization, my experience had been that BOSS is no better than Debian.

So, it is a subset of ASCII whose hex codes must lie in the ranges given above. Basically, any printable ASCII character with the exception of 0x22 (= double quote) and 0x2C (=comma) which serve other purposes.

I'm getting an error message [1]:

even if I have just logged in. I cleared cookies, etc. but no use. And that error text is in white font over pink background -- hard to read without mouse-selecting.

I had the exact same problem on an Ubuntu server at work. Since I don't have root access, I was forced to compile from source. I gave up when I couldn't compile Cabal.
My solution was Multimarkdown 4 [1]. It supports many basic Pandoc features I need (tables, etc.). Exports to HTML and PDF. Since it is written in C, the compilation was straight forward. 10 minutes later, my document is ready. Couldn't have been happier.
Missing feature: Sort by language. This is especially important for massively multilingual countries like India. Choosing 'India' lists hundreds of movies, but I would like to sort it by language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.)
I discovered various CardDAV servers listed on Davdroid's homepage. I just installed Baikal server and worked flawlessly with Davdriod. THanks OP and DAVdroid !

Hinduism in not an organized religion like Abrahamic religions. The definition of Hinduism is very fluid in practice.
Similarly one can be a Buddhist atheist as well.

Factually incorrect. India as a whole (esp. south India) was never under complete Islamic rule, let alone for a 1000 yrs. The Delhi Sultanate started around 1200 and British colonialism around 1700. That's around 500 years of Muslim rule esp. in north India.
I have been using Noto fonts for a more than 6 months now (mostly Indic fonts) and quite pleased with them. And just saw that they have "Noto Sans Brahmi" in the pipeline. Although Brahmi script (ancient Indian script used around 300 BC) entered Unicode in 2010, there is not a single font available that covers Brahmi.
I also couldn't find any font that covers mathematical symbols from the SMP.
EDIT: Just downloaded the zip archive. Unix permissions for the Bengali and Gurmukhi fonts are different from the rest of them.
What do you guys think about OVH? I believe they stood by Wikileaks in the past. But their servers are listed in the top 10 spamming hosts.
The flag doesn't work for the billion people of India. We are massively multilingual; we have 22 official languages. Google.co.in is offered in 9 of those 22 languages -- each one with its own unique script, which are mutually un-intelligible. One Indian flag for all languages? No, thanks. Look at the confusion caused by the Metropolitan Police website [1].
If you can afford two pop-up lists, the approach of Lufthansa is the best [2]. If you want just one list, follow the installation screen of Ubuntu -- they write out the name of the language in its own script.

Doesn't gcc's "-funroll-loops" do the same thing? This looks more manual work to me, unrolling loops by hand.

I got interested in D, so I borrowed Andrei's book from the library. The talk is that the publication of TDPL marked the stabilization of D version 2. I tried out the examples in the first few pages of that book. An example in Chapter 1 itself didn't compile (page 8). Well, is that what you call a stable language? I don't want to waste time when the API is still changing so much. I thought, I'll come back may be for D version 3.
