There's a bunch more to "autofilling". 1Password has ability to generate new passwords, save new registrations, autofill MFA codes, and even read QR codes on screen to setup MFA. None of this is possible on Firefox with Keychain.

I really hope that there's a way to integrate the new passwords app into browsers other than Safari. The only reason I'm still with 1Password is because of their Firefox extension for auto fill.

Wouldn't it be easier to just decide on a UI library to be used for the project and use that instead?

I would say a combination of lifestyle and mental aspects. I do enjoy programming still, just not everything else that comes with it. Agile, meetings, business requirement documents, more meetings...

Something I have had trouble with is finding purpose - I work at a government agency, and I feel my work means next to nothing (for various reasons I can't get into).

I have a very nice Logitech mouse and keyboard setup, but still prefer to use the Macbook touchpad while connected to an external display. They're just perfect in every sense.

Good construction relative to what is available. I will take a Macbook with a sharp edge over a dell laptop where the screen frame is falling apart, the hinge is non existent, and the trackpad is useless. If you go out to find faults in Macbooks, you'll find them, just not as many as the alternative.

I see what you are saying. But a switch to turn off/on the microphone would not be used as frequently as a home button. This is why Apple still has the ring/silent switch on the iPhone. This was introduced with the first iPhone and still exists today.

I think it's also the varying differences of experience in using different tools/platforms to communicate. For example, someone coming from Zoom may notice how laggy Teams is compared to Zoom. I definitely felt this way, once I experienced the alternatives to Teams, I just couldn't wait to stop using it.

Why does it need to have excel implemented into it? Why is the search function still there if it literally doesn't do searching. Why does it take 20 seconds to open a PDF?

Many more issues and questions stand out if you've previously used a platform where none of those are issues.

This is why I love BMW. They have the entire coding/updating software used at BMW dealerships online for download (not-official). You can change parameters for almost every feature on the car. Anything from disabling headunit warnings to injector control.
