"Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don’t know." - The Stranger, Camus
First thing I thought when reading the title was "is this about those never ending self-help books?"
First, they don't exist and 10k of them will never exist. Second, nothing would happen, the power will be minuscule and last for a very short time focused on such a small patch.
What's his "company"?
Isn’t that already what DMARC does though? For DMARC to pass you need DKIM _or_ SPF alignment, not both.
But now if SPF passes and is aligned, DMARC passes (it doesn't matter what DKIM's status is). OP here wants to complete skip the SPF check entirely.
How can a HDJWNSK brand gain our trust and become respected if we're not even trying its products?
This will never work, and it's ridiculous: https://youtu.be/7vItnxhWRqw
Which sites explicitly whitelist Private Relay IPs?
Beautiful tool, much better than having to press multiple buttons with some specific timed order and hold your tongue at the right angle like you're summoning some Apple genie
This is what advertising companies do to use your data unless you explicitly request to opt out. Hasn't worked out well
We need email end to end encryption. Good to see Google getting into that world, we need Apple and others to join too.
Thanks for the report! This was an overactive anti-abuse system. Fixed.
Ah yes, cause who bothers to test any releases to actual paying customers
What's the difference between police looking up geofence data for the bank before and after a robbery to see who was there, and checking the bank's outdoor cameras to see what license plates were there?
I had the honor and pleasure to take a class from the venerable professor, JPL director, and Voyager project scientist Ed Stone at Caltech in 2018. He excitedly told us a "secret" on November 1st that Voyager 2 had reached interstellar space, and he showed us the actual data proving it. But we had to keep it a secret until the press release that Monday, November 5. It was a special moment to see his passion for the project almost 50 years in, and felt incredibly special to hear it directly from him. RIP professor.
Would be nice if someone ran the steps to reproduce on ghostty

We all have single-handedly improved the illumination efficiency of our environment before, by changing a light bulb
Very well written
Any plans for more articles, 10 years later?
I wish the test added a button that says "Same color" and some of the tests actually show the same color

I used to use the iTerm programmable notification bell which would ring when a particular output was printed in the terminal. Don't think I can do that in Ghostty
Is this Terry's 17th book?

Man wikipedia is full of trash
I built one from discrete transistors in a lab class in college, on a breadboard. Fun times debugging and getting it to work. Then I flashed an led with it right next to another led flashed from a 555 chip. With the same discrete timer caps, the flashing frequencies were different due to the extra parasitics in the breadboard discrete 555 version. So had to compensate the caps to make the flashes match each other's frequency.
