I think he's trying to generate engagement on X through controversy. The recent change to search, which now shows posts from people you've blocked (with no options to turn it off) suggests this too.

Most applicants for a desirable position are likely to come from the majority group of your region. So for a minority candidate to be selected they would not only have to be equal to the others - but better. That seems unfair to me. What does that mean over the long term regarding how you hire?

I'm getting a lot of "tweets aren't loading right now" type errors. The app keeps jumping to the top when I'm scrolling into someones timeline. Sometimes i see my replies twice. The lowish tech wages in Australia are in part explained by our economy being pretty unsophisticated. A data analyst (already of dubious utility at the best of times) is going to find getting work hard in a country with a population of 25M that moves very slowly and doesn't actually make anything. The same goes for most engineering roles. A lot of us just become glorified PMs.

The "Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse" gets a lot of mixed reviews more on the negative side but it's the only mouse that helped with my wrist pain - the combination of its angle and it being fairly large is what does it.

Any Linux desktop OS can be made "lightweight", e.g. just use i3, xfce4 apps and disable the convenience daemons you can live without.
