Just a small tip for Mondays. I stopped going to the gym on Mondays and essentially got rid of any miserable activities for the evening, clearing it up. I still dread Mondays, just a little less because I know after work I can just relax and cook a nice meal.

For anybody curious like I was, you answer a series of questions and at the end have to sign up to see any job postings.

I didn't end up signing up but they could atleast provide a sample of the roles they have available instead of wasting the time of anybody that just wants a quick idea of what they have to offer.

Possibly off topic but could this be procrastination more than an addiction to the Algo?

I've found my procrastination stems from a fear of failure. Maybe you doom scroll instead of do these other things because your afraid you'll 'fail' at them and feel bad rather than because they are effort and commitment.

Somebody has mentioned this about Patreon before. But couldn't a drug dealer now just sign up to Twitter and get Tips from their customers instead of cash?

I don't get why AWS doesn't offer preloading credit. Surely charging your card 1 cent a month isn't worth the time.

Whereas if they allowed customers to load on an amount, even a direct debit, their card processing fees would go down and customers would just get cut off when they run out of credit.

I suppose a counter argument to this is that it's hard for AWS to keep a constant eye on how much a service is costing. In which case we're back to the same argument as spending limits.

Hang in there. I have a friend who's in a similar position, she's interviewed and been ghosted a few times and it has really gotten her down. It can take time but eventually a company will come to their senses and realise your value.

Hi, sorry Im not sure on the API being used. But just to let you know you can access an API by creating your own endpoint to call, which then calls the target API. In which case your not exposing the target API's key as its backend code. Then you can ensure only your users are using their particular key and for example rate limit them yourself.

Hope this helps
