A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy - by William Irvine
Notes by Derek Sivers available at http://sivers.org/book/StoicJoy
Tim Ferriss also frequently shows his admiration for Stoicism. A quick read that also provides a broad overview with a few reading recommendations.

Beautiful implementation.
As stated elsewhere in the thread, it is work in progress, so do not be too harsh of a critic.
Once all the lessons are up and a responsive layout is implemented, I believe this to be a beautiful addition for beginners and advanced programmers.
P.S.: Reminds me a bit of http://www.phptherightway.com - Maybe you can borrow a few of the good ideas from that guide?
Charging for premium features - Sure. But the basic version will remain free according to the Trello Guide.
Free... for how long?
Trello is free forever. We may add pay-only features in the future, but everything that's free today will be free tomorrow and forever. Also, we'll not make a for-pay feature that forces you to compromise on privacy, security, or portability. Those are built-in. [...] Trello is free.
updating, come back later...
The site in question has been updated quite quickly I suppose. The page Hacker News got an overall Page Speed Score of 86 (out of 100).Not to say that this valuation indicates a bubble but I find it interesting to compare it to the Moorhuhn Game Series which was popular quite a few years ago. Seems to have been the equivalent of Angry Birds in the early 2000's.
Propelled by the game's popularity, its Bochum-based publisher Phenomedia AG, who had acquired Art Department, went public in late 1999 at the height of the dot-com bubble and attained a market value of up to one billion Euro.
Engels averaged around four hours to complete a marathon. He said his best time was 2 hours, 56 minutes.
I am not affiliate with Manwin but found the article that was submitted here recently insightful. It partly deals with their operations:
The Geek-Kings of Smut http://nymag.com/print/?/news/features/70985/
First version seems to have gone online in early 2004.
Minor correction: FF Beowolf rather than Oakland was designed by Just van Rossum.

Although it seems not to be a direct play as the footnote states that Amazon.com is not a sponsor of this promotion.
"In the meantime, my family and I would deeply appreciate respect for our privacy."Bono != Elevation Partners
Many other persons are missing and probably classified as "Other". According to TechCrunch the Samwer Brothers from Germany also invested in Facebook. Would love to know how large their share is if they are still holding onto it.
The case you are referring to looks like a "cashback deal".
The purchasing party receives something (money, extension of subscription,...) in return for finalizing the transaction through your affiliate link.
As far as I know, this kind of deals is not possible through the Amazon Affiliate Program.
As long as we are talking about legitimate sales originating from real people, the 24-hour duration of the affiliate cookie puts Amazon into a very favorable position. I cannot see why AMZN should accuse you of stealing money.

I enjoy reading about your struggles and experiences in earning a online income.
Is it safe to assume that those earnings are for December 2010? If yes, I would have assumed that earnings for Android software would have increased quite a lot more as this month is typically the strongest for many developers - See http://taptaptap.com/blog/million-million/ for a good example.
As for iPhone programming, feel free to check out http://itunes.apple.com/us/itunes-u/developing-apps-for-ios-... if you haven't already - There is plenty of material available from Stanford for free that will allow you to create your first iOS applications easily.
All that trouble for ~$10M in paper profit. Compare this to the $400M he seems to have netted from his investment in the drinks company Glaceau a few years ago.
CNBC does not directly benefit financially from price increases in stocks they cover. In this case, Mr Jackson (50 Cent) has a financial interest in the company and does participate in stock price gains - That is where I see a significant difference.
"You can do so much in 10 minutes' time. Ten minutes, once gone, are gone for good. Divide your life into 10-minute units and sacrifice as few of them as possible in meaningless activity."
Ingvar Kamprad, Founder of IKEAHaving ~$50B in liquid assets and Steve Jobs owning ~7% of the target company are good arguments to finance a hypothetical deal of that scope.
Steve Jobs already owns 7.3% of Disney - I don't think Steve will go for Disney anytime soon but who knows.
Is there anything Tim Ferriss cannot do? Sometimes I catch myself thinking that Tim Ferriss is the next Chuck Norris.
Joking aside, he is a really good marketer. Congratulations on hitting the #1 on the NYT bestseller list yet another time.

Scrolling to the bottom of the article gives you a list of similar implementations in other languages.
Very interesting to see how other have tackled this programming problem.
Did a quick Google search and came across a site that features some Christmas Bingo Cards.

They received VC funding of $1mm. So that will buy those 3+ [1] developers some time.
According to an Oct 2010 article by TechCrunch [2] "Orbitz pays Hipmunk the standard rate of $3 per flight sold". Hopefully they did some renegotiations recently or have some other contract in place that generates Hipmunk more income.
