Maidsafe is one of the original crypto grifts that is still going and still hasn't made anything.
If the original funders kept their bitcoin they would be comfortably wealthy. Instead this company has wasted bitcoin that would now be worth billions over the past TWENTY years!

I agree that improving our energy generation is important.
But we must also get over the idea that we need mass immigration into the West.
The most environmentally friendly thing to do is accept a slow decline in absolute population numbers.
This will mean roads are not as busy, hospitals not full to bursting and the chance to improve the kids to teacher ratio.
So you want those in America + Europe (less than one billion) to significantly reduce their consumption, while allowing >7 billion to massively increase their consumption?
Think about the amount of concrete alone that would need to be used to get Africa up to 1st world standards. China used more in a few years than America did in a century. This will have to happen many times over just for the current population level, never mind a growing one!
It is like living in a house and everyone agreeing to cut their energy use by 20%.... while bringing in a new resident every few months.

If you import a large amount of immigrants they will have less hereditary wealth than the same amount of native Germans.

In England there are a large amount of people that live a better lifestyle than the mega rich lived say 100 years ago.
They can raise a family, get given a house, free health care, free education including university, TV, internet, computer games and even holidays.
They dont have to worry about dying from polio, TB, malaria etc. Very little hunger etc
On paper they live a lifestyle better than kings of the past did.
Yet depression and unhappiness is common. Drug use rampant. Suicides high.

Seems to me you're all irked by facts? Sure, plenty of Jewish people aren't prospering. Irrelevant. A disproportionate amount of them are succeeding in the "algorithmic economy." I don't see why this is so taboo to point out.
