Well, in the second case he could not find anything wrong with his own behavior (using deceit to defraud the pub owner of using his facility), so I won't put much value in his first finding or lack thereof.

I work in medical device regulations. The way ADHD appeared is clearly not a claim, and there is not regulatory concern of any sort here in any jurisdiction I could think of.

That said - regardless of regulations, you don't want to confuse your users, so better leave this acronym out indeed.

Had a somehow similar experience with Strava. I am biking these days only to commute - so doing the same boring 15km urban route 2, 4 or 6 times a week (Returns). Each time my performance would be driven by the weather, my load (public library books weight a ton), fatigue state after a long word day or a poor night, traffic, roadwork etc...not by my training consistency or motivation. Yet the app would keep notifying me of new records beaten each time to keep me engaged by shortening time after time the distances measured,resorting down to timing every single "one block long" segment between traffic lights, stop signs or various landmarks to find new records to beat :(

I work as an independent consultant. Few months ago, just starting, one prospective client (through their CFO/COO suggested is shaved 33% of my quoted daily rate. I offered a $50 discount instead on the daily rate because i had heard the CEO on a podcast and I was interested to learn more about their company. We verbally agreed on a daily rate and a weekly 1 day commitment. At week 5 client tells me they'll pay only 2 of the almost 4 days I had done already cause "they thought the report after the 2 first days was all what was due" BS :(.

1. I should have seen it coming - entitled dude took on himself to get the 33% discount he thought he deserved. 2. It sucked. I spent some time since writing some agreement template and will slowly roll them out with new clients.

Yep. It also boils out the 15-20% water content of butter to make it closer to 100% fat. Once you remove these (water + proteins and other impurities) the smoke point is much higher and it is much healthier for hot cooking. It is called "ghee" when done at medium high temp, which gives it a slightly darker colour and nuttier taste (Indian way I think), and just called "clarified butter" when done at low temp. Other advantage when done properly -> it does not go "off" anymore and does not need to be kept in the fridge, so you have this much easier/softer substance that you can spoon out of a jar.

You can even use it for deep frying - honestly the best fat for it.

Not impressed at all. If any of these tubes is aluminum (I'm 90% sure the seat down tube is), a battery powered grinder can cut through it in less than 1 min. Even a handsaw would need only a few minutes.
