Search sucks: really. unable to find stuff unless you know the sender, their full text search seems to only work in a browser and only after indexing (which can take an hour) and it will go away with time as it's browser local storage.

Sending emails directly from share sheet in iOS failed twice.

Unable to add an invite to a calendar invite on iOS or in the Webapp (if invited by someone else).

Emails broken format when forwarding to someone else.

Long delay in delivering a simple email (to google and apple) at least three times.

The way that the emails are threaded. And that trash still shows as being in the same thread, instead of moving apart.

False sense of security as most emails are only encrypted on one side. And mine are visible on the other side.

Been to proton for a little less than a year. Really disliked it. It’s too locked in.

At least for the ones sent in the Netherlands, if the iPhone is in silent mode, instead of making noises, it will vibrate strongly for a full minute or so.

It does not seem to be scanning phones, but stuff uploaded to iCloud, which is completely different. The article gives the idea that your device will be scanned.

I used to hate AMP with my guts. But to be honest, usually when I tried to avoid or loaded the site instead of AMP, I get presented with a worse experience in a bloated web-site, whereas when I click on the AMP version, it loads immediately. So now I don't care anymore. But google is not my main search engine, so I less very little of it.

yea right. same thing with facebook asking for phone numbers for two factor. they would NEVER use that for ads, right?

This is sad. Because as tech advances, we are stuck with governments that don't have good teams and leave a ton of stuff vulnerable.

I have a feeling that they will end just launching something in developing countries with weak regulation and will be done with it. It's a way to get more data from people. It's becoming pretty clear that this will not fly in the US or EU.

In a way, they are already on our minds with all the weird techniques they have to make people addicted to their stuff. But that is definitely going way too far.

I don't think that they are trying to make privacy decisions for you, but they are making sure that an API created for a specific reason stops being abused by many other use cases then the original one.

This is a nice guide, but it's very outdated. I removed battle.net recently without much hassle.

they may close if you violate terms. but you can't be sure if the data was actually deleted. I bet most keep it.

I am all in for that and believe that Apple and others should ban these trackers or at least display a warning on what sdks are being used directly in the app store. that would be a good starting point.

A hell of a taxi company with that many engineers and research and development areas. But I agree on WeWork as a real estate company. They are not creating anything.

Many sites do that nowadays. The Information seems to be pretty nice, but it's super expensive. At least to me.
