This is interesting. I think AI music will be massive in a few years.

It makes sense to listen to music made just for you by a model that knows you. You're bound to feel more emotion from that than trying to relate to something that wasn't written about you

The reason you have to work is because the game is based on a BBC show called "Race across the world" where you have to race from point A to point B with the money equivalent of an air fare for the journey.

If you run out of money in the show or your funds are running low you can work to earn more money. So that's why I added that feature. I do think it adds a extra layer to the game as it's something you always have to think about

Yeah I didn't implement that as in the show they don't let you look anything up but quite a few people have mentioned it would be useful. I think I will add

- A minimap to all the timetables that show visibly where the transport goes - A tourist information center in town and city centers you can use to find out other information

Hello I'm Chris the creator!

For the past year I've been working on Geo Racers, a free to play web game where you have to race from one side of the world to another just using public transport. It's inspired by the BBC show "Race across the world".

It's early stages but any feedback on the game it's greatly recieved.

I MOT it (obviously) and service every year but if I know something needs doing that's going to be expensive I just live with it. Especially if it's electrical because that can be a mine field and cost lots of labour time. Sometimes I try and make repairs myself and learn something in the process

Spending $25k on a car (if they exist) is just an insane thing to do in my opinion. In the UK we are quite lucky in that the used car market is very good. I always just buy a ~£1,000 diesel and run it into the ground, then rinse and repeat.

I think in 17 years of motoring I've spent around £5,500 in total on cars.

I changed it so they are ordered randomly now. Let see if that makes a difference. Having them in alphabetical does make it easier to find what you want but there is a search.

For some questions I'm going to have to display the answers in some kind of fixed order, for example chronological order for films

That would be good but I wanted to make an app where you just do a simple, fun task every day. With an ELO rating system you can just keep going and going whereas with this it only takes a minute or so

I don't think it destroy diversity, people can still choose what they want. It's just a fun way to see how your choices would compare to the masses.

Also for what it's worth my top 3 were Mango, Gooseberry and Tayberry

The problem I have with this, is if I reduce the choices to the more popular ones I always get people complaining like "How come dragon fruit isn't on there?!"

But I agree that for questions like this where there are a lot of potential answers, then it can be overwhelming.

This is actually some really good feedback, thanks for taking the time to write it. In hindsight I definitely should have kept the site up and just put a banner up explaining what happened, I really like idea. I have learnt in life that people are generally okay with mistakes as long as your are honest and transparent about them.

I might allow you to create an account so that you can keep track of your current streak, view more stats about how your answers compare to others etc. I never really saw it as a business just a fun little project so I'm not that fussed about monetizing it, but all valid points.

Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I'm gonna get rid of that whole subscribe to the channel thing in the future videos, you're right it just make people drop off.

I am using a mic, although either it's not very good or the settings aren't optimised but a few people have said to me it sounds bad. I'm going to look into it. I also don't have the most exciting voice which doesn't help

I have a stammer which I think stems from severe social anxiety as a child. I used to be part of speech therapy program that has a similar ethos. 90% of stammering if just psychological so they say the only way to beat it is to face your fear e.g stammering on purpose but in a controlled way. Easier said that done though and it's easy to regress.
