I didn’t fully read the post, but pretty sure they have a good point. I inherited next.js on a project it is the absolute worst framework.

I don’t need/want to elaborate.

The most amazing and well thought out web framework I’ve ever used.

Cannot wait for the async and bg work interface!

Happy birthday Django you cutie

I would say that’s making the assumption that IDE is actually bound to the key bindings in a useful way (e.g. file exploring)

I have yet to find an IDE that has integrated well with key bindings.

I learnt it quite well actually. Used it in a few projects one quite large.

It worked ok for internal apis not open to customers, but even then Django was much better as just setting up the admin side provided a lot of value to the business (for free).

All forgotten now but wasted a huge amount of time glueing things together that came for free with Django.

This was my go to for learning Flask, I wish I never found it. Flask has a very niche use case in my opinion and if you need something to scale (in terms of code complexity) Flask is the absolute worst decision you can make.

Try Django instead. If you read my comment history you'll see that I learnt this the hard way.

Why would you add type checking to Python! Using another language with static typing would be the solution. It’s not like the browser where you have to use Javascript so you add another layer to your toolchain.

Taarof 11 years ago

I can tell you Taarof is one of the worst traditions us Iranians have, it's like playing reverse poker.

Taarof is mostly based on context, with a stranger it's never genuine but with within friends and family you will want to pull your hair out. You will begin to pay for stuff just to skip the awkward Taarof, but will have no choice to engage in it when the other person has to give in to the Taarof.

I don't have much experience with stretching before sleep, but sounds like it would work, and work well! I only use meditation to clear my mind so I can get some peace and away from the problem I've been trying to solve during the day, otherwise I would be awake all night!

I really do prefer weight training an hour or so before sleep, it just gets the blood flowing without increasing the heart rate too much.

I'm not arsed to explain to you half of what is wrong with that comment, wtf I know you can use the ORM outside of Django but why the f*ck would you.

You're just arguing like a 10 year old fan boy now. Django is great for sites I love it. I also use other tools when I need different things. As for reinventing the wheel it's a very simple code snippet taken from a reliable source then changed to fit needs. So go home sleep learn new things... Don't attempt to build the next OS in Django.
