Remote / Tel Aviv - Fun or die ltd
We are building a new way to interact with tv, we are well funded and have successfully launched our first project.
The team consist of two swedes and two israelis.
* UX/UI designer, someone that is passionate about tv and in the long run transforming tv.
After signing up and receiving the confirmation email there is a slight issue with picking a password.
1. Click the link in the email
2. The webpage opens up with a password input field and a confirm password input field in a small popup
3. After starting to type the password in the input field the popup vanishes thus not allowing me to actually save the password.
Same issue when requesting a password reset (safari on mac os mavericks and on ios 7.0.3).

It compiles a binary, just send it to the server and it will run, no need to even have go installed on the server (or any libs really).

Could just load it into a map[string]interface{} and then just make sure he does type assertion on the value before using it.

A couple of things after having played around with it on my iphone 5 for a while.
1. It "feels" slower, might be because it's not 100% optimized yet, but what I suspect is causing this feeling is the new animiations. Everything just feels sluggish, kind of like using an android feels to me.
2. It appears harder to locate things in apps.
3. The paralax animiations arent all that obvious and doesnt add as much depth as I initially thought it would.
4. Some of the app redesigns are really nice (address book for instance).
5. The thin font is really hard to see sometimes.
6. The new design of the notification view is really nice.

Imagine a distributed system where you want to preserve uniqueness across the board. Using a uuid more or less (by the sheer number of possibilities) guarantees that this will be the case.

For people that want this outside of Sublime you can get TaskPaper, same thing (I guess this plugin was based on taskpaper). Available at the apstore. I use it daily as my todo manager.
Any way to get ahold of you guys and ask questions about ideas etc to help understand what is legal before building it?
Yeah we are also seing issues. Fortunately we arent using them on that many places so should be fine anyway but my god this is a silly mistake to do.

I would think they wanted more intervention in the middle east. Why? To drum up more support for their cause and to have an easy villan. I would say their attacks were fairly successful.
I would think it is mostly about the person.
Some people - like me, are very anti authoritarian and love to do things on their own and teach themselves how to become better at things. Some people enjoy a more structured life. I dont think any of the paths are wrong its just that there are different kinds of people, and different kinds of people take different kinds of paths to achieve the same thing.
Will dropouts save America, probably not, looking at the stats it seems as if people fare far better going the education route but a couple will succeed and because they are in the minority people will rejoice "Hey look, we to can succeed without getting a degree", what they missed though is the mountain of work these people put into their projects to succeed. There are no shortcuts.
College is hard work (Im sure), doing it without a degree is also a lot of hard work. And as I said earlier, it comes down to the person to decide what is the right path for him/her.
And the very reason I dont, I have no intention of forcing my views of what should be done with the sc onto people that might benefit from using it.

I once rented out my apartment privately and it turned out to be a major mistake. I had just come home from surfing the Caribbeans and was sitting on a train going home from the airport when I got a job offer that would entail me moving halfway across the world.
I took the job and was basically on a plane in a week or two. I decided to save time by renting my apartment out fully furnished. My mom met some dude she thought looked OK and we rented it out to this guy. Turns out this was one shady guy. First month comes around, no rent. I call the guy and he comes up with an excuse, not wanting to really deal with this at the time I bought the excuse and was expecting two rents the next month. Next month comes along and no rent again so I get my friend to go into the apartment and he opens the door only to find basically everything I owned stolen.
After calming down I found the guy on facebook and then reported him to the police, they couldnt do much seing as the guys excuse was that he had left the apartment and dropped the key into the mailbox so someone else must have fished it up and opened the door and stole everything.
tl;dr I rented out my apartment and got everything I own stolen and the police didnt manage to do anything.
What did I learn from this? ALWAYS get a deposit. 2-3 months rent up front. Have insurance, have friends that are able to go check up on the place from time to time. And dont leave anything valuable in the apt when renting it out.
And this is why I will never ever use a service such as Airbnb, no control.
Thats funny, I thought Lion was acting up. So yeah, you guys should perhaps think a second time about those :)

Should emit a small sound when run, useful when running long running tasks so you dont have to pop back to the console window all the time to check if its done.
Couldnt agree more with you. Perhaps this is the thing for us non facebook users to use amongst ourselves :)
