Yes some of the best "AI" features Apple has implemented are related to picture search : you can describe what you want to find and it will consistently find it, even inside of videos with highlights or the moments you're looking for. Much less supposedly sexy than the SIRI AI / Apple Intelligence hype, but also much more useful

When people ask me why I like being the founder of a company, I often reply with a small story: when we built our first saas for SMB, we billed .50€ per API call and we plugged those calls to a Slack bot. You're absolutely right. It's saddening to see how little regulation there is, or even how little focus there is on regulating business in space. As we speak, Republican lawmakers are pushing for legislations that aim to exclude voters from democratic expression ; Flint residents still don't have drinkable water. All of this exist, racism exist, poor people are suffering and even dying from it, minorities in larger proportions.
Still, is the X of Latinx the solution ? Or is it smoke and mirrors in the Big Tech goal of being perceived as noble ?

Language is our main tool for expressing ideas. IMO that means language choices can help include more people in the conversation, or (more often than not) act as a diferenciation factor between the "enlightened ones" (woke ones ?) and the rest.
Given people stay respectful, I think that's fair to criticize languages choices and the barrier they create.
