I assume this is partly interesting/funny because in the UK, both "Iceland" and "Spar" are grocery store chains :)

I went to Apple Music already back when Spotify decided to give Rogan their platform and the millions of dollars. Can't say I regret it.
But Google is now Alphabet, so should be MAANA
But a map app is so much more than street maps and navigation. I have tried to switch to Apple Maps, and it works great for navigation or getting an overview of the streets. But I cannot use Apple Maps to explore!
With Google maps, I just fire it up and search “sights” to find places near that are worth a visit. “Public beaches” to find where I can go for a swim. If I try the same with Apple Maps, more often than not I get sent to a place in Myanmar or similar which happens to be tagged as “public beach”.
Also when I search for a business on Google maps, I get photos and reviews. With Apple Maps I am happy if I get a link to a website.
I diagree. The c / z in American pronunciation can cause confusion in verbal communication here. "at ey bee [see] dot ex why [see]"
To be honest, it is more a F-U to your competitors' customers than to your own. I don't get why Apple creating a feature for their own ecosystem has to be made available to other ecosystems as well. It's not like Face Time is the only video calling solution out there.
I think the OP is referring to ground effect above the water surface, as employed by for example eraknoplans (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lun-class_ekranoplan)
Candela will also provide boats for a trial with the Stockholm Public Transport system, which currently employs quite a few traditional boats for transport around the city.

You should definitely be able to convince her this is a road trip to take! On the way you will pass the lovely Virgin coast archipelago as well as be able to visit the UNESCO world heritage sites Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland and the High Coast. Go for the road trip!
... but only 1% of the world's vehicles
The capital "A" in the submission headline confused me, but it is a variety of the fruit, not the company, that has been discovered :)
I had the exact same problem as a 12 year old kid, only I was in assembly where Auschwitz survivor Emerich Roth was telling us about his hardships. He stopped with annoyed patience and waited for me to silence the alarm before continuing. I don't think I've ever felt so bad.
This has been submitted multiple times as a “Show HN” but as it is a paid service, I guess this is a marketing strategy.
So what happens as soon as people want to start visiting NZ? Seems like you will forever have to be scared of corona entering your country again, it must be a huge blow long-term to the tourism sector? Not trying to be snarky, genuinely trying to understad the plan.
The world's largest scale model of the solar system is in Sweden and stretches along most of the country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden_Solar_System
Funny, in Sweden where surströmming is from I have heard the exact same words used to describe the production of Hákarl. But Hákarl is easy to smell and eat compared to surströmming, which is gut-wrenching when you smell it.
It was because the phone had been rebooted, and iOS requires a passcode after a reboot.
But swipe left/right on the bottom bar shouldn't be too hard for them to learn. This also switches between apps, and it was blazing fast in the demo.
Except for that large padlock icon that shows the unlocked state when Face ID has identified you?
For B2B: be local. Have presence where your customers are. B2B relations are so much easier if you are local, so you'll be rewarded if you are able to open up offices close to strategic customers or in potentially big markets.
I haven't used Pandora in a long time, but I have to say that everything you mention can be applied to my experience of Spotify's discovery/radio features as well. Plus it handles playing songs on-demand.
But a green light allows you, even as you're turning left, to enter the intersection. The light lets you in to the intersection so that you can leave it when conditions are favorable to do so.

Headphone jack doesn't matter to me at all. Headphones work perfectly with the adapter that comes with the 7. The lightning ear pods also work perfectly fine. It's really a non-issue.
For me I'm paying the premium for a number of reasons, mainly Apple's stance on privacy and security. You'll be hard pressed to find the same security and privacy commitment from any manufacturer of Android or other competing devices.
What you're paying for is not having to buy and mix your own caffeine powder.

I was half expecting this to be about Dr. Leonid Rogozov, the Soviet doctor who performed an appendectomy on himself[1] while stationed in Antarctica in the early 60's.
[1] http://rarehistoricalphotos.com/leonid-rogozov-appendix-1961/This is likely caused by Sweden and Germany being very open to immigration from other parts of the world. Sweden and Germany were very high on the list back in the day, but after relatively high streams of immigration during the late 1900's the average height has dropped.
Have you heard about a company called Xiaomi? They have the balls to straight up copy the industrial design of Apple, so pretty sure they would have no problem copying the software.
